yeah funnily enough I have not had any letters with regards to ULEZ despite living in Central London next door to the Congestion Zone/current ULEZ zone LOL

strangely any historic vehicle I punt into the ULEZ Checker still says it has to pay despite them being exempt

I wonder if thats because the ULEZ checker cant check what taxation class a vehicle is in, but the ANPR cameras can?

image.thumb.png.905145e9ff30718f053fbaf9a28936fc.png

or are a load of 40+ year old vehicles going to be falsely charged come the 25th of October because someone at TFL forgot to make historic vehicles exempt like they say they are

certainly on the TFL website they say it goes by what taxation class a vehicle is in,

which brings up an interesting problem because a Car in the disabled tax class is Congestion charge exempt, but wont be ULEZ exempt, however a car in the historic vehicle taxation class will be ULEZ exempt but not congestion charge exempt

so what do you do if your disabled person running a historic vehicle, you cant have it in 2 tax classes at once LOL

Both the Kitten and the Daf, come up with the same page that says "charges apply", even though they are both registered Historic Vehicles, and the Daf is sorn.  At the bottom of the page is "You need to register your vehicle with us if you believe it meets the required standards for ULEZ or LEZ" I did that for both a couple of weeks ago, they were accepted but still get that "charges apply" page for both if I go to the "check vehicle" page. But if I go to the "registered" page, I get this:

Thinking of putting the Cinquecento and Civic up for sale.

Cinq taking up room and to be honest, done what i want with it now so would be better at somebody who used it.

Civic, good car, now totally behaving after a rocky start with MOT and some electrical gremlins, but driving it every day, i keep coming back to the same conclusion, It's too Jiggly for me. Not outright bad a ride, but just enough to be annoying.

Looking at wafters.

Was dismantling a pallet last night, all going well until I stood straight on a batton that had two nails sticking straight up. Fuck me that hurt. Straight through my trainer and into my foot.

Today my foot feels so bruised and I’ve got to move my old dears contents of her house on Friday, brilliant!

Tetanus shot 100% required please.

Delivered to the seller this afternoon… of course the brake lights decided to stop working en route. Seller was good about it though and wouldn’t take my offer of recompense as a gesture of good will.

I'm confused. Did you mean seller or buyer?

First picture was the trial fit and the second is with the suspension on high and fully pressed in. Had to put 500ml of LHM back in the system, fingers crossed it holds up until Friday.

We need a communal Audi thread.

Indeed we do. I don't work on my 80 enough to make it deserve its own topic

Last week I swapped the lower wishbones for polybushed items on my 2004 V70 as the original bushes were a bit soggy. The passenger side wishbone was exchanged for one I’d previously polybushed while the drivers side wishbone was removed, polybushed and refitted. I couldn’t test drive the Volvo as I was still isolating but fast forward to this morning and I was finally able to take it out for a spin. The tracking was absolutely miles out, the passenger side needed around half an inch letting out of the track rod for the wheels to face vaguely the same direction. I’ve fitted polybushes before and never had to alter tracking so I was a bit confused. I thought maybe I’d fitted odd wishbones but they’re all the same size apparently. I’m going to get it tracked up properly and see what’s what.

After finding the V70 undrivable Mrs LT, myself and the Lanklets took her Fusion on a day trip to Buxton, picking up a couple of Volvo 140 wheels on the way. One rim was an early type which I’ve already fitted to replace a bent rim, the other was a later style but both had ancient tyres fitted, one of them being made in the GDR!

Pneumant were probably the only brand you could buy for your Trabant or Wartburg back then.

Tigar is probably the best-known Serbian brand after Zastava/Yugo. They were a massive sprawling rubber product manufacturer, but have experienced considerable financial problems in the last 20 years. Back in 2008, they even bought the original Dumfries production line, lasts and tooling that had produced Hunter wellies, after Hunter went off to China.

you might want to put the original bulbs back for reasons explained at 15:47 in this video

Errm, no.

The new OSRAM LEDs that I've put in really do work and are quicker to react. And this product quality tester explains why:

Was at one of these farm places that are full of kids today.

There was this contraption, which was a bit phoenix nights that dragged the kids round a field in barrels.

Thing is, it was a petrol quadbike with the exhaust sticking out the back. The kid in the barrel directly behind it would probably fail their MOT if they blew into an emissions tester straight after the ride.

I am only interested in the older Audi and not those from the 90's and newer so do not know about such a thread. But one thing is for sure yours is very nice.

In the early 1980's a mad old farmer wanted to sell me his Citroen DS and/or an Audi 70? 75? Foreign scared me then, used to BL unreliability.
