Eyersey1234
Had some good news last night, might not be long before I am back on National Express. We get a couple of trips back in about a fortnights time and I am next in line for the refresher training to go back on it when we get some more work. crad, clayts450, LightBulbFun and 8 others

Also has reversing lights and a few other functions in it. Compare it to the photo of the 12N that Loserone posted up and the difference should be obvious. All now superceeded by the 13-pin euro plug, which is actually a lot better than 12N/12S. Amishtat

Bardahl used to advertise heavily in motor racing. Think they sponsored Emerson Fittipaldi in the early part of his career.

Fumbler
Father took the BX for a spin and likes it, so that's good. However, it kept cutting out at stops if there wasn't any choke applied. I think some tuning might be in order tomorrow if the drive to the unit is a repeat of just now.
richardmorris
My dad informs me that when he took the fiat out yesterday for a 20mile trip to chester and back on the dual carriageway that there was a puddle of coolant on the garage floor. NSF its obviously lost some as he said it had a couple of inches in the reservoir, and I always keep it to max. My guess is a hose clamp is loose ( they’re the really annoying Italian spring clip things ) or the rad is leaking. Easy enough if I can go up and see - but wales is still saying NO to cross border travel.

ruffgeezer
Still looking at wiring diagrams for the van, seems I'm missing a live somewhere... Edit; full diagram attached for anyone who fancies having a look, item 1304 seems to be missing a live, the one responsible for turning the ECU on with the ignition. I hate the 13 pin with a passion. Too many wires, too small pins, if you stick a 7 pin adaptor in they start playing up. Never had a problem with the old type. I'm a bit of a Luddite though, spent hours yesterday, marvelling at my Saab floppy top working, and that's 20 years old. vulgalour
That's a first. Came back from the shop to find the Shite Fairy had paid a visit and left a couple of things under the wiper of the Maestro. I don't remember leaving a bowl of rust and 10mm sockets out to receive this reward. I managed my first A-road overtake in a left hand drive car.... felt like a winner! Also figured out the under-reading Speedo. I think it’s been reconfigured so that 40 kmh is 20 mph, 60 is 30, 80 is 40 etc etc. This will save my phone battery! danthecapriman, Jim Bell, Cord Fourteener and 8 others
