I've just found them in the back of a drawer. not @Six-cylinder was it? I couldn't for the life of me get any sort of quote returned when I tried to insure the Bluebird on a classic policy. Turns out that if you value it at £1,501, they suddenly drop all objections! Now, I wonder if there's any way of getting a 20-year old Mondeo on a classic policy...

Split_Pin
As long as the chain is quiet you're into a winner. A noisy chain indicates lack of servicing and therefore the overall standard of care.

ruffgeezer
I have Mrs Ruff permission to buy another proper classic but only if it is usable immediately, I have a certain something in mind but haven't found one at the right price yet. jonathan_dyane
For many years my GS has lain forlorn and forgotten at my parents but I retrieved it today and shoehorned it into my garage which was my lockdown plan coming to fruition (building new workshop/motorcycle storage shed in the garden freeing up the garage). Remarkably structurally the GS hasn’t deteriorated much further in the 16 year hibernation and getting it solid shouldn’t be too taxing but the doors and bonnet are going to challenge me! Frogchod
The C6 has been collected. Many tales of woe may appear on these pages. jonathan_dyane
Lovely C6, you’re braver than me! The GS started life C-matic but has gained a clutch pedal and manual box at some point which as far as I’m concerned is no bad thing! 320touring, Asimo and Stevebrookman 2
