The electrifying new work tool has been delayed by a few days so, in an uncharacteristic fit of Gallic pique, the Blingo shat its crankshaft sensor yesterday.  It's like they KNOW. ?

Lucky I've got the 205 as a backup daily!  Ah, bollocks... ?

Off up the local rental place at 0730 this AM, then...

Sympathy like, they do know don't they

I tried AX camping for the first time recently and enjoyed it so much that I'm still doing it. These ace little cars really can do anything (except handbrake turns).

There is a lot of love for the venerable AX round here isn’t there, and I think they look ace. I must have a look and a drive of one some day.

I got my first AX only a couple of years ago but now I wouldn't ever want to be without one.

Six_cylinder and I have spent the past few days talking about little except the (many) small differences between his series 2 1.1TZX and my series 2 1.1i Forte. We have been tempted to write all our findings up in to one massive AX nerdfest (aka cure for insomnia).

The Civic has to go, it needs specialist insurance and my dad can't be on the policy due to his age, so it's not much cop to us. I doubt anyone on here will be interested as I want £1500-2000 for it. If anyone does happen to want a £1500 JDM yo go-kart, rust free and low mileage, let me know... choices of wheels and steering wheels are available.

Besides something very nice has come up that's cheaper to insure. eBay auction so no guarantee I'll get it, but it'll be a shame if I don't.

I have Saturday afternoon to have a look at the zx and work out what the massive knocking noise is, diagnose it and get to the shops before they shut at 5 to buy any parts needed...

Im fairly sure it's the lower ball joints (it's deffo on the front, fairly convinced it's on the drivers side, seems more affected with road undulations, smacking drain covers with the passenger side than shit road surfaces like the droplinks were when they went, and the noise all but goes when I corner.)

I had a peer under earlier with the wheels on full lock and nothing looks untoward, but I suppose it won't be externally visible. I've never diagnosed anything properly with a pry bar before...

Just need to hope nothing snaps before then really!

Took a trip around Europe the last 6 odd days.

Here’s a few spots.

This beaut was parked up at a hotel one night.

This early e30 was on the street and was mint, it was manual and just ace x a trillion.

The vectra next to mine was a 100 special edition. Owner had the best moustache I have ever seen.

Here is a bit of a write up of the trip, contains moderns mind.

Finally got one

Found these getting thrown out at work. Far too cool to chuck but not really my style. Fucking Jet Oil though!
If anyone fancies them I'm open to offers. They're full too.77ca7a85fa8c4ca4781c14def013a0df.jpg

I can't work out how big they are but I think they'd make ace mugs.
Put me down for one.

That shot of the Cavalier is gorgeous. I’d have that on the living room wall.

They're a quart of 0.946 L. Need washed out well as the warning says causes paralysis if taken internally!

Yes the oil is rather toxic and nasty. You can pick that oil up pretty easily from specialist/better RC model shops. It's used for the turbines in model planes.

thankfully, there was enough thread on the end of the bolt to get a pair of side cutters on and wind it out.

Having not even started my Ital Van since the beginning of February I got a lift from my dad back to the farm where it's be stored to bring it home yesterday so I can make a start unpacking it and thinking about selling it, annoyingly though I couldn't get the bugger started! After a bit of investigation work I found there was no fuel being drawn up so I'm guessing the fuel pump has packed up.

A friend has one but I can't get it until next week so I ended up having to borrow dad's RAV4 to get home again, this was the first time I'd driven it and I have to say I was really impressed, his is the diesel one with 81k on it and it was quiet and smooth, only let down by the over light power steering.

This was also the first time I've had two cars in my new garage, I still have tons of room!
