What happened to cars with flowing lines? Why is car styling dominated by pointless angles/swage lines/creases now?

Just had a text from egg regarding his Invacar delivery.  The courier needs help unloading apparently.  His ETA in Whitstable is 4pm.  Anyone local able to help?

Edit: if you can help please PM me and I'll send you the details, as egg is at the dentists at the mo.

Since it's nearly Valentine's Day, could Egg just buy a load of pink helium filled balloons and float it to safety?

No no no. The proper way is to do that after Valentine's day, when all the commercialised trinkets are on massive discount.

On a completely unrelated subject - do you have plenty in savings and know someone who is both talented and affordable with regards to welding?

No. Thankfully the sill cover will enable an MOT to happen.

In other news I was on Facebook and found some Civic 16v/CR-X wheels for sale. £60 for four but no tyres. All centre caps.

I'll be having those then, they're only in Pwllheli.

Be mindful that the sill is an integral part of the cars structure. Not only is it in close proximity to critical mounting points and other body structures it will also provide a certain amount of energy absorption in the event of an impact.

The 'spread' of the corrosion appears to be large enough that it has been giving some warning for some time of the damage hiding within. There are various economic ways to repair this. A good repairer would fix this to a nice standard with ease and it wouldn't cost the Earth.
