The DVLA have all of my initials on a reg plate. I've never been into 'private' reg plates but I quite liked the idea. It's 250 quid all in. Might do it.

Dragged the MV6 out of its 18 month slumber today. It hasn't even been started in that time, took a spare battery with me but before changing it I tentatively stuck the negative lead back on the current battery and she fired into life!

 

All 4 tyres blown up and a gentle move up the road to bring it home took place.

 

Looks cleaner in the picture, it's become absolutely manky in the short time it's been off the road. I will jet wash it tomorrow then make a decision on what I'm doing. I will need to throw a few quid at it for MOT I think.

Managed to get my mr2 mot'd this week. Needed the front brake caliper freeing off, which it needs every mot, and a new ball joint. Quick going over with the waterless wash stuff I acquired recently and it's ready for shitefest!

So, the c5 has gone all french on me and thrown an engine high temp warning/stop light on the dash.

 

Strange thing is, it's only doing it when the air-con is running- kill the air con off and the temperature gauge immediately drops back to the middle and the warning resets. Plenty of coolant, fans are running and the engine isn't getting that hot under the bonnet.

 

Any resident Citroen lickers able to give me a clue as to what it's doing? (Other than don't run the climate control!!) It's a 2005 1.8i if that's any help to anyone.
