Back out on the streets again; the owner of this very tidy Escort is a window cleaner by trade and clearly looks after his ride.

A re-spot but in a slightly better photo.

Haven't seen a SportKa for a while.

Ever seen a booted Accent of this generation? Me either until now.

Quite the early A3.

With spotting radar disengaged, I drove past this and thought "oh, a Fiat Strada"; 800 yards later, I thought "Bloody hell, a Fiat Strada!" and instigated a U-turn.

February commences with OMGSNOKAOS

Nice steelies on this Envoy.

Nice alloys on this V90 (also, 3-litre).

004.thumb.jpg.eefba42d5347a2eedad646f3cf29bec6.jpg

I've seen this 156 a few times over the last couple of years and assumed it was a bit Barry; turns out it's a GTA (still not sure about that paintjob/wrap tho).

There's a bit of a February backlog to upload, I must try and keep on top of the updating regularly routine.

It all went a bit "Vive la France" to start with; any excuse for a carnival.

001.thumb.jpg.2b5a85c954eab02505a09ec59d5e0b27.jpg

Tidy looking ZX

002.thumb.jpg.8736ca801275b02354f5e6e4c051e0e2.jpg

Looking good for a workhorse.

003.thumb.jpg.569fb3ae0d8fb7245953cdee0e176766.jpg

Still hard to spot La séries une Gooners around my way and yet within the space of 24 heures, there was deux.

And then it all went a bit Italian.

Not for long tho; Vive la Sverige. This one is a Carlsson.

This has been standing for a while, hopefully the owner will one day find time to hose off the comedy* dirt drawing.

A selection from a very busy Walton Bridge Breakfast Club meet; not just any old Focus, it's a Millennium.

001.thumb.jpg.480cad5eb9b8cf6b89239686e043feb4.jpg

Mirafiori in a very fetching shade of beige.

There's approx. seventeen Super Minx floppytops left in the UK and this is the second white example I've seen in the same town in the last 12 months.

Avengers are rare anyplace and anytime. This one was rescued from the scrapman, welded to the max and fitted with a 2-litre Pinto.

"Turnpike Cruiser" is the greatest model name of all time. Yes it is, shut up. Mercury is pretty cool too but y'know, any factory name is cool when it precedes "Turnpike Cruiser".

005.thumb.jpg.70a73ef0d4140a9a22e98a44b80ff335.jpg

That name will never be bettered. If a car named "M25 Variable Speed Limit" were to be launched, the press would laugh at it and no-one would buy it (except for a few 'shiters perhaps).

A very Autoshite Daimler; brown Sovereign with 2.8 manual powers.

2.0 GL is an uncommon survivor spec and it's for sale.

For twelve bags. Hmmm.

I know there's a Blue Oval Tax but a bit excessive here IMO.

I am not a businessman.

It's March roundup time. A fairly successful month all in all 'cos of some work opportunities outside of my home areas.

In my home areas, there was a wizard prang. Looks like the Audi ploughed into the fencepost with some gusto and bounced back into the parked Fiat and Honda. Or the twat reversed into them with even more gusto.

Actually that's probably quite unfair. My Mum had an Amica for a little while in the early '00s and it is still the most uncomfortable car I have ever sat behind the wheel of and I'm assuming that it's predecessor would be the same if not even worse. I should buy one to confirm or deny that assumption, yeah? Yeah.

Hateful (3)? see above but without the actual experience of.

"If there's anyone here in Marketing or Advertising, could you do me a favour and kill yourselves?" said a great philosopher, years ago. That philosopher was the late Bill Hicks, just to save y'all a field Google trip.

So the VolksWorld show was held at Sandown Park recently; rest easy folks, I won't bore everyone to tears with a never ending parade of Beetles and Transporters. In fact, I didn't attend the show at all; there's a free car park 15 minutes walk away from the venue and the venue car park is full of interestings which means in effect, a free car show. Huzzah.

There will be some VW content tho, such as this Polo that was recently imported from Sweden. Some road tax bollocks meant that any car under 800cc fell into a cheaper bracket, hence the Sveriges were unique in having a 771cc version available for purchase.

^ All of those were taken on the Friday before the show. Here's a few weekend highlights.

A pretty cool AS recovery truck, once the decals and stuffed toys have been removed.

Old Toyota vans float my boat.

002.thumb.jpg.bcaebbfaa21973a69a8d03957f9bc44e.jpg

Oh go on then, here's a Beetle. A late Mexican one. Deeply questionable plate font and I can't help but imagine a recently widowed Frank Spencer hunched over the steering wheel with beret akimbo.

003.thumb.jpg.c56bb78c81de211a4c37c68cf06c1061.jpg

Couldn't have been parked worse photography-wise but an '80s Mitsubishi camper has to be recorded.

This was interesting; a Toyota Hilux badge-engineered to become a Volkswagen Taro.

April commences with post- and pre-BL Rover joy: an early 414i that appears to be existing in a limbo between "For Sale" and "Dumped". It's local to me and I'm keeping an eye on it.

001.thumb.jpg.e9992bad93d2a9678e40a1b46b3068c6.jpg

Quite amazing really; built in 1953 and sixty-six years later, it's parked on a suburban sideroad.

002.thumb.jpg.ce9b52bb3b4ee6b0f527f2069269a11d.jpg

003.thumb.jpg.ecaf2d6a3c4f867912afb2a32d35d265.jpg

Cue a jarring change of gear; there's a bit of Korean kontent incoming, starting with this (what's it called again? Oh yeah) Rodius.

004.thumb.jpg.9fd751c14186df800d3c131318e1ea90.jpg

Looking like some Godforsaken creature that was trawled from the depths of the Pacific ocean, this is prettier* than its pre-facelift ancestor.

005.thumb.jpg.d5ac2d21f6287d9816678c7da7a4ee8d.jpg

Don't recall seeing many Lacetti estates but I'm a bit noob when it comes to not-American Chevrolet.

007.thumb.jpg.54de5438b4357cdca68bec2384152576.jpg

Shuma in general is scarce but the prettier* facelift Shuma II is moreso. Gotta confess that I have never noticed one before. The pre-facelift was noticeably deep-sea trawlage-worthy and I noticed them every time.

I'm sure I've read some threads implying that Scotland can state with confidence that "ALL YOUR VOLVO ARE BELONG TO US" but this one has been imprisoned within the confines of the M25. The way things are going in this fucked-up nation, I may break into it and claim political asylum.
