0ldCh0d Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Hi All, On Tuesday, My trusty (or Rusty) old Mercedes C220 CDi suffered a FTP. Live on a busy Dual Carrigeway, with the pregnant Mrs in the car with me.Got it recovered back to base. Anyway, I have decided to see if I can sell it & if there are no takers, it will be getting bridged (Which will be a shame, because the old car ran & drove 100% spot on). Details Are, 2002 02 Mercedes C220 CDi, Avantgarde.Covered a genuine 143 thousand odd miles now. (Low for one of these) I'am the 3rd owner of it. MOT'D Until May 2018 (No advisories) Recent new rear brakes (Discs & Pads) Has x2 Keys, Owners Books etc. Bodywork is not the cleanest, however, it is still solid. It Started Ran & Drove excellent....Until Tuesday.... Now, The issue is......It cut out whilst driving & would not start again, It now say's EPC failure on the display. It turns over alright, it just will not start. I do not have the time to get a look at it, so offer it on here. I am in Scotland, Slap bang between Edinburgh & Glasgow. Engine is worth decent money on it's own. Gearbox is 100% as it should be. The car has No leaks, funny noises etc. Anyway, I have been offered £200 for it from the scrap man, so if anyone wants to buy it & fix it, or strip it themselves £200- Takes it. Oh....it will need transported due to being an Auto. Or tow it at your own risk. Pictures....Taken a couple of weeks ago before I washed it. But it is as you see it.
