Rootes arrows spots--22.08.2010 update

Sorry this is a bit late, but where was that Renault 4? I'd commit unnatural acts to get hold of one! My late Dad had one some few years ago (during the Punic Wars it was so long ago!) 6 volts, 747 cc and 0-50 in about 3 weeks! 0-60 simply wasn't possible! If memory serves, there wasn't even a key for the ignition, just a switch on the dash!

No Keef it not. Send me a pic of the right bumper and I will see if my mate has one among his ado16 pile.

Ah, your mate's yard?

is the correct VDP bumper (wraps around side and over riders mount below rear lights).

Unless secret Stanza-perv Bollox is hammering on his door every week, I doubt his story somewhat.

Farms are brilliant places for laid up cars, I remember ages ago on my uncles farm there was a blue allegro and a marina, long gone now though. I know there is still a mini van somewhere (destroyed completely though) and a grey Ferguson Tractor. Actually thinking about it, up until 2005ishh there was a 1964 CLAAS combine still there, and my grans old Subaru, all i remember about it was that it was called a GL? Sort of looks like a hatchback GLF, and it was on a B plate. Brilliant car, shame it died.

Ford Thames ET6, forerunner to the Thames Trader. That's an ex-Civil Defence control unit that would have been part of the mobile columns with the Green Goddesses. I've got a pic of a restored one somewhere....

Vauxhall briefly made a super-obscure people carrier version of the Midi, they called it the Albany and it had those alloys as standard:

I think the Midi was a six-stud wheel?
