Saabnut
I IZ DISSAPPOINT! An hour of shiny cars, but NO SAABS! The SOC had a stand there with a Sonett 3 and a ultra rare 600 but they did not make it to the stardom that is a HubNut video. I will only forgive you if you do a bigger bit on the UKSaabs/SOC stand at the NEC in March! LightBulbFun

lesapandre
Wayne Cherry gets a word check. The guru behind Vauxhall and GM design including the groundbreaking MK3 Cavalier. Cardinal Wolseley
Inconsistant © Am I alone in thinking that the Standard Atlas Camper is one of the most splendid vehicles to ever hit the road? I love its slightly startled countenance, and "hidden" wheels. Can there possibly be a better way to take tiffin at the side of the road? Wonderful pics all, thanks for sharing. oldcars, Squire_Dawson, danthecapriman and 1 other
The Reverend Bluejeans
Oops. Broadspeed! I was hoping you'd spotted the new stuff on the BMWCC stand and royally ripped the piss. Alfamale
post-10228-0-72954000-1542137006.jpeg That might be a TiX, the 1982 Alfa GB limited edition based on the 95 bhp 1.5Ti to clear stocks. I had a chocolate brown one, UPH425X. That one hasn't got the (not unobtainium) lower body decals though but it's got the white grille. They were almost all unregistered 1981 built cars that were tarted up. Yep that was a TiX minus the decals. Still would though! The Reverend Bluejeans

They are getting a well deserved hammering ion Arsebook for it. They're hardly alone in that. Volvo Owners' Club (I think, there seem to be more Volvo clubs every year) have been guilty of that before. Even Fiat Motor Club! Worst I can remember is Daihatsu some years ago. They brought the Comagno out, but didn't even remove it from the car trailer! It was surrounded by current Daihatsus. Not impressed. The Reverend Bluejeans
I see the blue Skoda of Horror was replaced by a modded 2014 Superb or something. There were some ridiculous cars for sale last year, 12 plate 1 Series and shit like that. Shouldn't be allowed. I'm wondering what happened to the MER bloke with the car polish setting fire to a Mini bonnet. He was everywhere. oldcars and alcyonecorporation
Alfamale
I take your point your Reverance but it’s obvious the big manufacturers, BMW, Porsche and Aston Martin to name but three were spending a few bob to have a presence there but it’s one newish car on a very well laid out stand with some fantastic classics on. The Alfa stand had the new Stelvio on but the presence of the Alfasud, Spider and GTV more than made up for it. The Reverend Bluejeans

fordperv
I see wheels as a personal choice so I tend not judge cars on wheels, I'll take a look through my pictures a bit later, I tried not to take pictures of samey stuff if you get where im coming from danthecapriman

danthecapriman
Those Krayford Crapis are nasty. I quite like the actual car, though I’m not a convertible lover at all tbh, very nicely restored etc but I really don’t like the wheels on either! They don’t suit the car at all imho. The blue one especially, it looks like a lovely early 70’s car that someone has shoved some big very 80’s alloys onto. Rostyles or dartboards etc etc would look much nicer.I find the Ford ‘scene’ and especially the American car ‘scene’ are particularly bad offenders for terrible taste when it comes to wheels! The original style or figment wheels of the time are lovely and work well on the cars. As rightly said though, it’s a personal choice and they’re not my cars! Still great to see them.
