AlabamaShrimp
OMG I had a look on ebay for a rough price on that lego and let's just say in a classic over done accent, how much!!! Think I'd have to sell a leg to be able to own it so I'm out.

DodgeRover
By the way I'm thinking of investing in Lego sets rather than sporty fords as a pension plan given the way even some recent kits have gone up.Just hope they don't rerelease it all like tamiya did with the RC cars.... sierraman
Lego is insanely expensive, I find it tremendously theraputic though. When the kids have gone to bed I frequently find myself building them something when I really ought to be doing stuff round the house. eddyramrod
HillmanImp
How much for the matchbox swing wing plane? I was at my sons nursery the other day and he had taken my old swing wing down and another little boy took a shine to it. He was upset when my lad took it back so being nice I ordered him his own one on Ebay. However, I've just been informed that I can't just get William one, I need to get Charlie one too as they are a trio.

mk2_craig
Has the Lego gone? If not please let me know a price! I ended up eBaying it to help pay for Christmas 2018. Harbour went for £200 and the Monorail made £650!!! Crazy but the stuff's become investment material. I've more (lots more) in my parents' attic to gradually retrieve and do something with. mk2_craig
No, I think most of the diecast is out and visible in the photos on this here thread (though since sold a few things locally via Facebook etc. ) but I found a couple matchbox placca kits and an old Star Wars thing at the weekend. There are approx 20,000 bits of 1980s lego still to be dealt with however! Tenmil Socket
mk2_craig
Evening mini-shite fans. Right as it was nice weather here this afternoon I decided to dig everything outta my attic to get some decent photos of what's left (A lot more than I thought was left). Seeing as the new forum appears to have shrunk all the old images right down in dimensions for some reason. ESCORT COSWORTH, MK2 GOLF AND BEETLE CONVERTIBLE PROVISIONALLY SOLD I did end up sticking some of this stuff on eBay for strong money in the hope that someone would blindly hit the Buy-It-Now button, amazingly three 1/18 Bburago cars recently went that way for £34.95 apiece but may I point out that CONSIDERABLE Shiters Discount is available, so that I can get a bit of my attic back and put some cash in the pot towards a Lego train set of some sort for my son's next birthday. Alternatively, I'm open to crazy offers for everything in the photos as a job lot if somebody fancies selling them onwards and making a bit of money? The Matchbox Tyrrell and Military kits are unbuilt by the way, and there's still a load of late 70s/early 80s Matchbox/Corgi/Majorette at my parents' place. Lord Sterling
Wow, any chance if the 1.24 Fiat Punto, Tipo and Uno Italia '90 and a couple of purple Milka Fiesta vans? Might be interested in the orange 1.24 thing in the same photo as the Milka vans. If you have got any West Mids/Shropshire/Worcestershire busses too.... mk2_craig
Hi gang, thanks for the interest!! OK let's go through these one by one, ZEL There's other Majorette etc stuff at my parents' place. What I'll do is get some photos and post em up here in the next day or so. Lord 800 Due to a shiter enquiry by PM the 1:24 Punto/Uno IT90 are provisionally SOLD but you can have a couple of Milka Couriers and the orange thing is the door-less Renner 14 that I think is on page 1 of the thread. Don't think I've any Greater Birmingham buses, unless you want some Mk2 Metrobuses for repainting? EDIT - 1:24 Tipo also still available! SPLIT PIN Nice of you to think of CMS but alas an early PM from a non-Scottish shiter means the Volvo estate is provisionally SOLD!! Also the Z1 kit is already built-up, though it's yours for an insultingly low offer if you think you can do owt with it. EDIT - Z1 pic attached CMS regrettably as above re the Volvo. You're correct about the Majorette vehicles! Again I'll have a hunt through what's still at my parents' place and report back. The big Superkings set is the Shell garage transporter, pics earlier in the thread. I'll copy them back here in a while so that they're easier to see. EDIT There has been a Volvo 700 Estate-related development!! PM incoming.
mk2_craig
OK here's some bigger photos to save digging back through the thread and having to open up thumbnails. Please note that in pictures where there are multiple models, some individual ones were sold a while back, but ask away and I'll confirm which ones are still on fleet strength (and therefore available for purchase). Cheers! EDIT 13-05-2019 - Red or green crosses show what has definitely already gone. 2CV, Renner 5 turbo, Volvo 245, AMC Pacer, Fiat X1/9, Mini Metro, Sierras x2 available Jugular XJS and XJ40 (Corgi), FX4 taxi, Leyland Terrier x2, AA Land Rover, Escort mk3 x2 available Volvo 700, Merc SL, Camaro?
