wuvvum
I love that ad. It reads and looks (photo aside) like an advert from the '30s - it's the sort of thing you'd expect to see advertising the new Vauxhall Ten with its "many exciting and unique new features". seth
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1960-BORGWARD-RED ... 0364785884Bumpers look better than mine as I can't see any holes If it stayed very cheap the purchase price could probably be offset by using VW scene tax applied to those wheels. wuvvum
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLVO-960-24V-2-9L-ESTATE-AUTO-OUTSTANDING-RARE-1993_W0QQitemZ250526713572 What a lovely thing. 24v - would this be a straight six or some sort of PRV V6 thing? They're a straight 6 - not a bad engine, certainly much more potent than the PRV V6. That's a lot of money for a '93 960 though - that shape would still have had the live axle at the back so would handle like a nose-heavy 740. Facelifted (V90-shape) cars had independent suspension all round and were a much better drive.

Richard
We had a saloon version of that with a diesel engine. It took a bit of sorting out in the first year but after that it was the best car we ever had. It just did what it was told and didn't complain.
