Unfortunately yes. Hell of a car which I'd love to own but I'd be surprised if it made over about £2500 because they're not that popular and I'd imagine the demand for them is relatively low.

 

Not knocking the car or the owner because it looks fantastic, just can't see it doing that kind of money. Good luck to him though.

Just what I was thinking. There aren't many folks in Europe, let alone the UK that would spend so much time/dosh/effort on one of these. Much respect to the chap, but I doubt he'll get what he's asking for.I was working on the basis that in Europe these are known simply as Wartburg 1000s. :D
