Rocket88
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/QUANTUM-KIT-CAR_W ... 0346413443 This looks like a quality item.Spoke to old giffer recently at a car show that has had one for 12 years [he built it based on a diesel Fiesta] he let me have a drive, and I was very impressed. They are a complete fibreglass moncoque, no steel anywhere in the body, except the window frames. Mr_Bo11ox
He's used some smart yellow 'sports tape' to 'colour code' the indicator stalks! Strictly a classy move.WHAT A POS
pogweasel
Yowser, that Marina Van is WORLD CLASS SHITE. I would love to own that, imagine rolling up at rich folks houses for work with 'teh Pog Survey Co.' brush painted down the sides. Absolute quality. And a surefire way to go bust pretty quickly

Absolute quality.Even better than that, I saw a MK3 Transit the other day with "CARPET FITTER" written on the bonnet using bits of roughly cut-up Duck tape. It wasn't even lined up right, it was about 4 inches too far to the left.

It's a four hundred quid truck with a £200 back, no winch and an extra axle to make it weigh more and carry less.
FredTransit
Correct, all show and no go. I would have thought the back was worth a bit more though.
Albert Ross
The reg plate on the Marina, with the three 6's in a row, looks like reversed lower case A's. Coupled with the first section of the plate, it looks like "CRaaaP"!

wuvvum
ooo mamaOOOoooh. It's a Renault. It's tax exempt. It's local-ish. It looks solid. It's my 30th birthday and I haven't bought myself anything yet. I have plenty of room for it at the moment. I'm not doing too good a job of talking myself out of this, am I? Guest
1977 Saab 99GL Looks alright for £250 plus a bit of tinkering. 1986 Ford Sierra 1.6 L E-Max Wow! What a beauty, possibly the worst colour that Sierras were available in. And it even has the E-Max "lean burn" engine! Bet they're awkward to get bits for now, if I recall they have all their own special gaskets and the likes. I remember my dad wanting one of those as he's always been spectacularly tight with petrol, he ended up with a normal 1.6 L though. I reckon the only reason we didn't have a 1.3 Sierra back in the day is because he couldn't find one. Anyway, I would love it.
Guest
1988 SEAT Marbella L Wow, a Doctor-grade Marbella! 1985 Ford Escort 1.3 L This is exactly the kind of Escort my mate's stepdad would sell from his house in the mid 90s. This is just before it receives its pre-sale valet (half a bucket of muddy rain water and a sponge robbed from the washing-up bowl).
