r.welfare
Normal pricing rules don't seem to apply on Autotrader, where folk regularly ask £400+ for shite without a ticket. Hard to find anything under £250 on there, full stop. Guess where the Rover will be sold on when it's finished

Guest
Seems fairly thin on the ground today, here's a bit of newer import shite: 1993 Mazda Lantis Basically just a 323 with a really weird back end. It fails to excite me somehow.
wuvvum
Needs the usual rear suspension welding, and it's a left hooker, but it's the cheapest 4 I've seen for a while.

Mr_Bo11ox
The one in Galashiels is FUBAR'd I think Dave. Interesting how the bloke is offering the whole car, but then in his eBay shop he is also selling all the parts separately Been on to the feller selling this today, seems he is quite a sound geezer actually. He reckons this 180 is as rusty as a fishermans bucket and agrees that the price is rather optimistic. I wonder if it is the same rusty red V-reg one that was advertised ages ago on the bay (on the Isle of Wight)? If so I would love to know how it ended up back in preston. Anyway he reckons some feller has been to see him, who lives near glasgow and who has SEVEN Chrysler 180's! They are gonna do some sort of 180 exchange and this red one will get stripped for bits by the Glasgow fella.Seven 180's is mental, I have asked the seller if he will give us the glasgow geezers phone number. CortinaDave
Glad the 180 story has a happy-ish ending. Thought there was only supposed to be two of the buggers left? how can one bloke have SEVEN?Anyway my eye is on this at the moment. Xmas is a bastard because at this time of year you always get bargains as no one else is in buying mode... problem being that if like me you're over run with shite with no room for more you also cant sell what you already have!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=

r.welfare
I wonder if it is the same rusty red V-reg one that was advertised ages ago on the bay (on the Isle of Wight)?Nah, the one on Guernsey was a T-plater as I recall. I reckon it's still there. I might ask one of my old workmates to scope the garage out.7 of the buggers is immense, this bloke must be the Glasgow equivalent of the Schlumpf brothers or something.PS The Simca is lovely... pompei
That Multipla is my dream vehicle. Rare as fkcu. I was in the south of Italy about 5 years ago, and an old geezer in the village came to the bar every afternoon in one. Said he'd had it from new, but wouldn't be persuaded to flog it Went to see one in Oxford a few years ago, but once I'd driven it and said I'd have it, the bloke changed his mind. He had a shed full of Whizzkids and Ranchos too
