Pete-M
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-RENAULT-SAFR ... 286.c0.m14I had one of those. Ate CV joints like they were going out of fashion. They were £160 each as they come with the shaft, and appear to be dealer only. I didn't keep it long. Nice car though.

Pete-M
I've just bought two!!!You can get the full set. Prancing Moose badges, wheel centre caps, the lot from 'ere. I think he' the chap who thought of it. Seems to have gotten a bit carried away, but it's fun. I keep thinking about getting something for the T5, but it's just killed it's PCV canister so it's getting fuck all apart from that for the next few weeks. Volksy
but it's just killed it's PCV canister so it's getting fuck all apart from that for the next few weeks. What were the symtoms? I was 'making progress' the other day in it and I got a whiff of oil when I stopped, followed by a cloud of smoke from under the bonnet. Thought I'd fucked it for a minute but it still sounds sweet as a nut and drives perfectly. I've popped the dipstick out a couple of inches to get it home but it's a common fault with the 5 pots and a bugger of a job to do. If I don't do it it'll blow the rear main oil seal and then it's a gearbox out world of pain.I reckon I can change it in 3 hours. Inlet manifold off, clear out all the breathers and replace the canister. Everyone's been quoting me £70-90 for the PCV canister and £150ish to replace it, but I just rang my local Volvo main agent who said "17 quid mate, it'll be in this afternoon". I described the symptoms and gave him the chassis number and got him to confirm it's the right bit so I'm not arguing. He's 18 miles away so I'm going to go up in the P6 in an hour or so. FredTransit
The new version of ebay does make linking to the pics very difficult, if you right click on the pic and select 'view page source', and look for the image URL in that, it starts http:// and ends jpg, copy and paste it and put at%20the%20beginning%20and at the end. You can also take a screen shot and upload that to photobucket, but that means you have loads of random email images littering your account and hard drive. This is a bad move on ebay's part, anything that brings potential buyers to a listing can only be good for sales.

wuvvum
It's survived this long - get it out of that damp undergrowth before it dissolves!!! That is superb. Lurid '70s colour scheme, 845cc engine, and (presumably) dashboard gear lever. And I've got space for it now too. So tempting - but Herefordshire is a bit of a trek from here...
