Mr_Bo11ox
That crown looks BAD! I bet it has got some eye-watering rust problems. That said, I hope it doesnt end up on the oval, it probably will though.
nigel bickle
Torsten I thought so too -but i think we are both mistaken. A tidy red estate was advertised on t'bay around 6-9 months ago -with a similar -but different number. WPU or something like that. Thought it was back -always fancied an estate -but think I need to sell my spare blue saloon first!

r.welfare
Oof! That E28 is lovely, although a carb'd 1.8 will be S-L-O-W. Monty is nice too, despite the bifterstick trans. Nice Sterling too, just don't see any Mk1's any more.
wuvvum
I was looking at that Beemer last night. If it wasn't so far away I'd have bought it. My first ever Beemer (and about the fifth car I ever bought) was a dark blue Y-plate 518 carb. Paid £300 with ten months' ticket in the days when old cars were still worth something. Yes it was slow, but not painfully so, and E28s are a nice car to drive.
