Spottedlaurel
I regret not buying a 2000GLS years ago, when I needed something to replace my Manta A. Lovely plush interior and bronze tinted glass. It was that very, very bright green colour.

pogweasel
Bloody hell that Cortina is ACE. (PS. Don't drive near the ACE on retro-ford night! Bell-end driving warning - last night had two sierra-driving plebs attempting to drift round the chuffing hangar lane gyratory about 2mm off my front bumper. KNOBS). Mr_Bo11ox
I am thinking of giving my Volvo the big FO, adding another £3-400 to the proceeds and buying one of these fugly heaps, I proper fancy one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110410904451 Really i'd like a 3.0 'H6' version but I think you need to get into four figures for one of those.... a bit salty for me. KruJoe
...bought as a joke when my daughter wrote off her first car. She now has a little city rover......various spiders webs and pipes filled with coloured fluid... There's also a brain in a jar. Yep, I'd choose the City Rover over this, too. Bright girl.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200358885265 On the Outback Mr B - they're proper good value. I have a couple of those rims lying around if you need a real spare wheel. If you found a manual, it would likely have a real dual range transfer box for heavy duty tat shifting ability. pogweasel
What on earth is that Mondeo about? Some kind of mutant chav/goth halfbreed. No wonder chav/goth youths hate each other, not as irrational as I thought.

AND know how to drive in the afore mentioned conditions, if you'd like I'll come down and show them how for you..................... mind you the last time I tried that I was quicker in a 1300 Cortina than a " I'm cool as fuck me " personage in an Mk2 RS2000......................guess thats the difference between Can and wanna be

brammy777
are used car prices cheaper in france? or is this all relative.I have a Norwegian equivalent of auto trader in my house, and its specifically cars below £3,000.Some of the prices are a joke, 2 grand for a 14 year old escort. But theres 2 mk 2 fiestas, both £500 each. Alot of j-tin shite, specifically eighties 626s' Currency in norway is pretty much the same here but divide the krone by 10 and you pretty much have the figure in pounds. Despite its autobox, was a pretty capable machine, would recommend, touch on the bland side tbh, but for a reliable tugger not a bad option. retrogeezer
I'd say that XR3i/RS lookylikey may not be quite as nice as it looks. The small 'lump' under the bumper in this photo should be a black rubber grommet but has obviously been painted over.

Mr_Bo11ox
This 406 SRi 150bhp turdblowa looks very clean + straight, only £300 classified ad. Shortish MOT like, but it seems a very honest old tank. Bet its great for a long trip. Interior looks particularly immaculate. Whack a load of spoilers and bodyfiller on, and you can pretend you are in 'Taxi 2' as well. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-406-2-0-TURBO-SRI-4-DOOR-LAST-OWNER-9-YRS_W0QQitemZ190315227877
