Don't believe you, And what's going on with the 4 Exaust pipes coming out the back?!

If I were you, I'd not question it too much. That chap has some lovely kit and the best caravans in the world, but really not someone you'd want to upset, according to local 'lore.

If you win it, do you fancy slinging a Humber Hawk gearbox in the back before you head southwards? I've agreed to buy one from a chap in Malton - was going to drive up in the Camry and collect it, but if you're going to be up that way...

Yes, According to the advert it was converted in the 1960's by Webb Engineering.

I especially like the rubber strip across the roof there the saloon roof ended and the new estate part was added.

The front damage looks worse than it is, by fitting a new front panel and wings, it will be a strong front end.

Oh aye, dont foget to fix the inner wing where the strut has come wanging through mind.

About four years ago I bought an Escort 1.6 Ghia just like that, except on an R plate. Mine had tax & test and it even had an engine and rear springs. Bit scruffy round the edges but basically sound, the way I like them, and I paid £350 for it. I have a feeling this bloke will want more than that for his pile of scrap metal.

I love these. Super sinister.

Its a good job it isnt in the uk though. I can imagine some thug purchasing it for banger racing, quite oblivious to the effects of the onslaught of 4 tons of bulletproof Soviet metal against an MDF-and- fibreglass Granada hearse.
