I went to view this down in Essex, along with another P11 down that way and the one in Norwich I ended up buying (so could've saved myself the mileage, but it was a nice day and it gave me my defining drive in the Bluebird, and I saw FOUR Wimpy restaurants).

Anyway, it's amazing how deceptive the pictures can be because in real life it's horrible. Tatty, smoke-smelling interior, scratches and dings all over it. I paid £1550 for my very straight and tidy one in better spec and with good history, how this is worth anything over a grand I don't know, and even at that I wouldn't have bought it as it could never be a nice car.

Essex car dealer selling from home, with an '80s Rolls on the driveway. Classy.

As Herald pick ups go that one is the best I think I've seen. Looks properly done and sorted. Clam shell bonnet is a novel (and somewhat pointless?) modification. Shame about the seller. Don't have the best reputation in the Triumph world.

Must be some kind of mad Camry sell-off week. Found three 2.2’s so far, then this tidy V6.

Given my 2.2 wasn’t exactly slow, these 3-litres must be quite good fun. Until a head gasket pops or the auto ‘box goes, and I imagine it wouldn’t touch the 35-40mpg the Primera gives me.

A new holiday home for Fred maybe?

WHO I WISH TO BUY THIS VEHICLE???

A classic van-man (Women) is required, somebody mad about classic/mk2/transits,

who has knowledge of mechanics/electrics/welding/bodywork or knows

someone who can, who understands what this van is all about and what

they are actualy buying???

this van is unique, their is not another like it, and maybe a

classic vehicle investment too.

Not keen on the interior, but otherwise I like this a lot. I think it's a good buy, needs the mirrors returning to standard, and crying out for an MT75.....

Wasn't there one posted last week with a comment of how rare they are? :)Luckily (for the car) it'll probably remain scenetaxless, parts for these are an odd mix of late beetle and some unique stuff. Sadly the unique stuff is made from unobtainium and unless you know your ETKA off by heart it's a tough job to convert bits like the braking system to Beetle stuff. Also repair panels have to be made from scratch usually. I've had similar issues with my late type 3, the braking system is now mostly 1303 stuff but even getting a clutch plate involves playing match-this-part down at GSF.If you want rare though, get a Brasilia. And then slam it.

Hey, this is WELL QUAL, it's right out of my dad's book of 'Shit Car Care'

Parking dings, rust holes and at least one years worth of grime, classy. Just fill half the interior with fag ash and add a random cardboard box full of unrelated junk to complete the look.

One day I will have to capture footage of his moderately disgusting old Peugeot in it's usual shabby state, it's a wonder to behold!

That JagWagon is pure sex though, I would love that.

£400 for a shit B reg Escort, I musta been crazy to let my rustfree automatic the same age go for less than half that three years ago. Mine was only on 45k too, wonder how many miles that one has done but I bet its a whack more than that
