cheers and thanks for looking briggsy.please check my feedback, never welded.loads of mot and tax,

Pretty much the entire listing there. I love how he's said not an escort mk2, because obviously the Fiesta MK1 is always confused with them.
Supersports are fetching shitloads of dosh right now, that ad was just a 'this is for sale - contact me' ad to avoid ebay fees I would imagine.

Apparently the only one built, you get 1 and a third cortinas here, can't imagine this being on the road for a long time.

if thats the car I think it is...its one of only 3 made and this may be my mates old one.... going for a look at ebay to find out

I think one of these Stageas may have to be my next purchase.

For the £1500 or so I had to spend this time round I think I’d have been copping a load of grief, but hopefully their values will gently decline and my finances gently rise to a point where the curves will meet.

Classy interior mind:

Nearly as bad as the seat material in our Carina E.

Ok, spoke to one of my mates who owns a Mk2 Crayford and this is his reply............."Never seen the car but I'd be very wary unless there is proof to back it up.2dr 1600E's are EXTREMELY rare, think they were only for export (Or Ford company directors as special order). So a Crayford version would obviously be even rarer. Added to that, it looks like a cabriolet version, which is also a rarity.Rocker cover doesn't look like a 1600GT one to me, Geoff would know more. Roof is totally wrong for a Crayford too. Without seeing pics of the hood frame and the strengthening, it's difficult to say if it is in fact a Crayford or a 'home made' job. A lot of people call ANY convertible a Crayford.. "when Geoff has his say I'll post that on as well :)

There are 72 watchers on this car, why? I am going to strip it & crush it if it doesnt show any serious bids within the next 24 hours.

It has no engine and gearbox, and has obviously stood for a long time. He also put it on a 9 day listing. Brilliant. Some people....
It gets better!

Q: hello, can you show me the video of you crushing this car please, or was that just hot air!!!!!!! 21-May-09

A: Send me your email address because its looking more & more like its going to happen now as I have 157 voyeurs & you can see how many people have looked at it. Its boring me.

That's just what i thought, It looks like a pretty old thing and not all OSF done up with no bumpers and wide arches etc.Just a shame the whole attitude of the seller put me right off it.

Cheap Mini! Doesnt even look too hard to fix, I really do hope whoever buys it keeps it as it is. I love those basic late seventies/early eighties minis, i would have loved this as some sort of first project, but i don't have a garage
