Richard
look at this:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RANGE-ROVER-PICK- ... 0401764580 Disgusting!!I can't even begin to contemplate the level of insanity that thought this would be A Good Idea - a simple exercise with a tape measure would surely have proved otherwise.I spotted that a couple of months back in a car park in Perth. By the time my phone camera wheezed into action the owner had come back and driven off.
outlaw118
Why would you do that....Says in the ad "Owner retiring"...., I am reminded of the line in the Borat movie...(and I'm paraphrasing here)"So, what do you do?""I'm retired""Ahh, your retarded?" RedSparrow
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170318957704 Think this will almost certainly be getting bummed for a no-hoper mini project. Sadly, I think you are correct. Real shame. I would definately have that if I didn't have enough to deal with already. I am going to try and talk my flatmate into having a bid... MrRegieRitmo
that GM bit i suspect indicates manual gearbox and is inserted automatically when ebay fills in all the cer blurb automatically from the reg no.For some reason old Accords/Civics seem to get all sorts of random toss added to the title. Mine is called an "Accord 3G" on the logbook and I have no idea what that means. It means it gets a good reception wherever it goes!
MrRegieRitmo
Didn't realise these were sold over here! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-C25-High- ... 240%3A1318Yup, they sold the pre-facelift one here too, though the Citroens are by far the rarest of the three versions.Did they ever sell the Peugeot J5 over here? I've seen plenty of Ducatos and Talbot Expresses (the latter mostly as campers) and a few C25s, but never the Pug version.I'm 99% sure no Peugeot J vans were ever sold over here, Peugeot had Talbot covering that area for them in terms of the J5 with the Talbot Express. We missed out on J7s & J9s too.

outlaw118
^^^^So, what your getting is a Chevanne shell, no engine, no alloys, the osf door and wing is knackered, the floor is rusty. £499 to start?Where do I sign??!!
pogweasel
Given that an Escort of similar spec/condition will set you back at least 5 times that, and that the Chevanne is much rare and therefore much cooler, not a bad deal at all.
outlaw118
Very true Mr Pog, but it's a bit of a let down seeing the photo (taken from it's good side) with the alloys and all that, then you read the ad, and it's a different proposition. That was my point. So there.
monzaE
What's this all about? 99p. To save fees? To attract Nigerians? Doesn't even metion a wheel nut. What am I missing? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0392049017

AnthonyG
Sadly the fact it was the queen mother's makes it more likely to hit the track, not less .
FredTransit
Go figure. How is anybody gonna tell when it's prepped for the track? Leave the number plate on? Cardboard cut out of Queen Mum on the passenger seat? What's the point?
Pillock
It's the normal threat.... "Buy this for an inflated price or I banger it". Royal Granada Estates exist elsewhere, there was a thread on VZi today where an irish guy has two of them so it's not the only one, guess it depends how much of a basket case it is.Sadly, as with them all, if you want it to be saved you need to come up with some cash. Those banger boys do like their unique and famous cars....

A Chevanne is cool no doubt, if it were in a decent running condition it would definitely on my 'thinking about it' list.
