Mr_Bo11ox
Check this out, what a crock http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Magenta-Tarragon-Kit-Car_W0QQitemZ260391007563 Actually looks semi-acceptable in that photo. It was built, by me, over a period of 2½ years (between 1983 and 1985). However, for the last 12½ years the car has been stored in my garage, unused.Oh aye, is that cos you bought a £300 astra that was vastly more capable in every way to use as your transport. Mr_Bo11ox
Who is going to buy this? What is the point of owning a car that looks like this, if you cant cover it in vast amounts of Taiwan-made plastic chrome shite? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2007-CHEVROLET-HHR_W0QQitemZ350188736774
Mr_Bo11ox
i'd love one of these totally basic and horrible SD1 2000's. If one comes along at a tolerable price I will buy it. This one's not even got power steering, must be like driving an extra-large Marina with a proper front suspension. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1982-ROVER-2000-BLUE_W0QQitemZ230336228990 This one appears to have dreadful paint, though I suspect its probably dreadful from the factory. If one comes along at a tolerable price I will buy it.I have to say I've been pondering this idea for a while now, but I reckon the 2000 won't be that bad to be honest. It won't have power steering, but on the other hand it's only an 4cyl at the front so it won't weigh loads. I'm not a big fan of power steering anyway and the interior will be alright, if not luxurious.
