Spottedlaurel
And yet no dangly mirrors on it? The appearance of them on some cars and not others is mystifying.Edit: The Sierra I mean. I don't really want to pass comment on the Golf...

Spottedlaurel
Looks better than my car boot sale spot circa 2007... If it's as good as the ad suggests, that's probably a reasonable price. Not much use for a family of four however...

CortinaDave
Didnt they build early sierras at dagenham and germany? I know the ghias were usually german.Maybe one factory gave dangly mirrors but the other didnt?Looks like a base to me I had a 1.3 L and it had "sierra L" on the boot.Same seats as that though, but im sure only the base had the grey grille. No way its worth 850 sods. He is in dreamland. What a twat the golf bloke is.. looked a nice car, hope the previous keeper doesnt see it in the state it is now.I note not only has he removed the badges and the paint, but the wipers too.Being able to see where you are going in the rain? That's actually pretty nice for a VP1 - usually they look like two large planks of wood nailed together with a seat on top and a Beetle engine tied on the front with hairy string. That one's got some style to it.
Father Ted
I see your plane and I raise you hovercraft... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Eagle-Hovercraft- ... 0313256787 Now heres a thought, its a boat, that goes on land - so would I have to tax it if I ran one for work? Would cut my journy time, down the Penwortham Bypass, on to the River Ribble up the estuary to Lytham, then back up the road for the final leg - would cut out a lot of nose to tail traffic.
