This car is off to the scrapyard in a fortnight under the new scrappage scheme. However, if you wanted to restore it, i'd be very happy and i'll let you have it for €1000.**vision of the future**

55bloke
That black Renner 25, with new shocks all round and a new auto box is a hell of a lot of motor for sod-all money!! You'd love it!
Spottedlaurel
That 80 looks like it's beyond Doctor money, but is Coxy off RR still doing mega jobs on Audis like that? Hope it doesn't end up going the scene route, whatever. Wish I had a bit of money that wasn't committed to work on the house... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0328008675 Local, and in seemingly nice condition. Make up for the one we let go for racing some years ago. In my ideal world, I'd also be buying the Mk1 Prelude that's on OJC and getting the running gear into this Acclaim. Richard
Wow thats class, and the seller is helpful enough to confirm that its not a 306 or a 406! I wonder if it is a 207 in that case.Keyword spamming arsehole! I hate pillocks who do that.Who would buy that if they were looking for a 306 or 406? Bought for 50 quid out of the local paper with two months' test - those were the days...It's also the absolute spit of my Dad's first 'new' car when I was a nipper. He had an Escort estate, but that got scrapped and we then had several years with NO CAR! Then he got the Hunter. Squeaky wipers and rust wings were rubbish, but it had overdrive, which I thought was very cool.
Spottedlaurel
Ed, be interesting to see how you get on with an old-fashioned classified ad rather than a listing. More control over who they go to (if that's a consideration), less having to deal with timewasters etc.The Topaz is rather appealing, as stated when I put that Acclaim up I wish I had some spare funds. I wonder if it's local to me, possibly the same people who had the Astra auto on for £400 the other week.
