Pete-M
Will someone on here adopt me and buy me this? (And then help me fix it?)If that is an 8.32 I know where there's a proper doggy one of those with a perfect engine and interior... I keep thinking about it, but even I'm not mental enough to buy it. I'd love a nice Thema 16v Turbo LS thing, one of the last ones.

Father Ted
Not seen one of these before, are they any good? One of the girls at work had one, and apart from the bonnet catch failing and thwacking the bonnet into the windscreen, the CHG failing and then it catching fire it was very reliable. She has replaced it with a Megane CC now.

Mr_Bo11ox
couold you even get a 4-dr rangey in 1972? I've got in my head that they didnt appear till the 80's.
M'coli
I don't think that they were made until the 80s either, but the only way this could not be a complete ringer is to stick a 4-door body on a 72 chassis, I suppose, rather than stick a 4-door Rangie on a 1972 VIN plate. It is still on carbs, however - if you were going to ring a newer one, wouldn't you do it to one with efi? I would.
pogweasel
4-doors were around from about '81 and they went to EFI I think around '85. It's possible it's legit. But it's also possible that it's dodgy, but not dodgy enough to prove one way or the other (unlike the blatant '92 Vogues you see which are 'tax exempt')But what would you do - spend 100 hours swapping bits around to do it 'right' or half an hour swapping the tags..... Mr_Bo11ox
I've just sold something on eBay for £95. It cost £1.47 to list it, plus another £6.03 when it sold. Then when the seller sent the paypal money over, I lost another £3.32. Total cost of the deal: £10.82, or 11.4% of the sale price. is it me or have the sellers fees risen dramatically in the last year or so? Here are some shitters out of my watch list.
