I'd love one of these. Project car with a reserve at £1650 means it unlikely though.

Father-in-law was telling me the other day he had an unused Berkeley shell as a garden ornament for many years, but threw it out in the end. Apparently he 'liberated' it from the factory when it was being cleared.

(for the uneducated, they were made just round the corner from here)

I see that the environment agency are now using txt speak.

The scary thing is, it's likey that the signwriter, and even more likely that most people who read the sign, won't realise there's actually anything wrong with it!
Wots rong wiv it?

And these numbers cost 50p per minute to call, something they don`t tell you in the ad. The number connects directly to the advertiser`s land line so that the advertiser`s home number is not publicly displayed but you can still speak directly to him. Just another way for the magazine to make even more profit.

Now, with that comment and a £500 price tag, it will almost certainly be bought by a racer, just out of spite...
I phoned the seller a couple of days ago (the car was on eBay as well) and he said he's got a chap coming over with a trailer on the ferry from you-know-where on Friday.

I see £1 = €1 now, I suspect a lot of gear will be going a similar way!

They do have the benefit for both sides though that once sold, the number can be disconnected. So the seller doesn't keep getting calls for a car he's shifted, and anyone phoning up doesn't have to speak to an increasingly irritated seller, or keep getting no answer.

Too right. I must head over to Scotland one of these days for some cheap MPV action.Time to start thinking about another XM from across the water as well... 8)
