Excellent! Just like I remember ALL marinas looked like when i was a nipper.

Incorrect plates aside, OBV!I am sure that blue was fairly rare for marina's. They were all either orange or that bloody 'harvest gold' or whatever it was that looked the piss of ill people. Though they were all grimy with shutz'd cover sills. I found a great pic recently at my old folks place, me an' me dad circa 1979 with his Marina in shot looking delightfully SHIT. I'll have to get a scan.

Giddy game show! Thats lovely, the perfect colour for a 70's Peugeot. I'd imagine the rust would be horrific underneath all that shine.

While we're on the subject of daft little pickups...

That not only gets a WTF?, it also gets a YTF? I mean... what an astonishingly shit idea! I despair.
It is a rubbish concept, but it looks pretty nicely done. He oughta sort out the SVA test himself though or its just a big useless unattractive ornament.

Oooh I love that Audi 80. Price will go well above my limit though I suspect. On the subject of scruffy Marinas, there was a kid at our school in the late 80s whose mum used to drop him off in the shittiest white one with brown seats you've ever seen. The family were a bit pikey and this lad was renowned for being a bit whiffy too.

Every time I see one, which is admittedly not very often, they seem to have a different front or rear light arrangement to what I've just about got to grips with.

80's are very similar in respect to the Passat - not just in terms of mechanics but in the constant model updates every few years.

From what I understand this one would be a facelift of the 2nd generation 1970's 80. This car was in production for 2 years until the squarer (and judging by the numbers still on the roads more common) model in 1978.

Let us recap.
