pogweasel
No it ain't. That's entirely my point. You meet these poncey right on artists and the like who fartarse about pretending not to have a bean when really they are set up for life, it's the rest of us scrabbling about in the dirt [there's some lovely filth over here, Dennis] just to scrape by and not finish up like some kind of 3rd world scrat-end. Mash
Not shite - especially not with an £1800 reserve - but I love these... Hmm, summat doesn't look quite right here IMO. The plate is the one from the car that was in the Bubblecar Museum but despite the BL door mirror, I'm not convinced it's the same car. Unless I'm too cynical and it HAS had a makeover from someone who's knows their stuff.
Mash
Actually, perhaps I was a bit hasty..... Looking at the rest of my pics and especially the alignment of the front valance I think it is kosher after all. Certainly a new bonnet and new black bits but I stand corrected. Looking at the rest of my pics and especially the alignment of the front valance I think it is kosher after all. Certainly a new bonnet and new black bits but I stand corrected. I reckon it's the same car but when i had a good look over it at the auction it really wasn't all that nice. It's chock full of filler. the rear arches are extensively filled and it was generally very wobbly all over. It looks like it's bee resprayed but I wouldn't want to pay anywhere near that much for it.
Mr_Bo11ox
Check out this not in any way half-arsed 'retro jap lowrider' http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RETRO-JAP-LOWRIDER-mazda-626-auto-1991-long-mot-taxed_W0QQitemZ380085900146

pogweasel
How on earth does that Mazda count as a 'lowrider'? What a load of old arse. In fact I could probably still fit my arse into the gaps betwixt arch and tyre there. I can't even slide two fingers into the same aperture on my car, and I would never ever claim that to be some kind of lowrider. Toss!!!As for that Ozztin Free Leeter, I'd go batshit for that as it is clearly devine. If I actually had two pence to rub together / a pot to piss into. Bloody recession. Guest
My jacked up Galant is more of a lowrider than that sodding 626. Still, nice car if you undo its faults, if they've changed the suspension on that I'll eat my hat. I reckon if you put the standard wheels and tyres on it'll look totally standard again. Ratdat
Shame that President is a later one. I don't mind the square lights but they have a pretty naff interior and dash for a top if the range car. Looks like something you'd expect in a Bluebird. The pre-facelift ones are pretty classy looking inside. Still... a cracking motor and I'd have it gladly!

Mr_Bo11ox
I love it when these barries 'detail' their engine bay. It usually involves picking out the word 'injection' or 'turbo' or whatever with a tin of humbrol enamel, then closing the bonnet and going back up to their bedroom with a copy of Nuts magazine and an old sock. 55bloke
Awesome. Anyone ever actually seen a DeVile [sic] for real? Mr_Bo11ox
Hey look, a french-built 'Minerva' landrover from 1952.
