r.welfare
OOF! How rare is that? Actually, that reminds me, I saw an Australian-spec mid-90s Ford Laser (323 based) on Friday near me. Really must try harder with keeping the camera in the car. Anyway, howsaboutthisthen? Worst-looking Seville evAr - OK, the early 80s bustleback looks much worse, but that's sort-of ironically cool these days. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-cadillac-seville-12-MONTHS-MOT_W0QQitemZ300251678706

r.welfare
Big barges from the "ordinary cars" section, I often have a look at what's available within 50 miles on a Buy It Now of a grand or less, for shits & giggles. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLVO-960-24V-AUTO-P-REG-PRICE-REDUCED-TO-SELL_W0QQitemZ1902481305983-litre straight six 960 surely the ultimate expression of the old brick. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270269468689I think the lad is on crack saying it was £54k new (750 money, surely?) and only has 140bhp, but 3.5 with the bulletproof straight six? Mmm. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-BMW-730I-SE-AUTO-BLACK_W0QQitemZ260279215899This one has been on for a while, very tempting with the 3-litre straight six and dechromed trim. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1996-NISSAN-PRIMERA-SE-RED_W0QQitemZ330265845378Strong money, but the definitive P10 Primera? I think so. GR8 car. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1991-NISSAN-PRIMERA-EZX-WHITE_W0QQitemZ200250745980Or this, if you prefer a hatch and more sport. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-VAUXHALL-NOVA-MERIT-PLUS-TD-BLUE_W0QQitemZ270270387635Cavette has a lorralove for these. Probably the only credible alternative to a 205DTurbo at the price. Perky little motors but watch that rust. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290256731096Seems like a cheap way to look good, but what do I know? pogweasel
That R8 looks fabulous. Shame it's in Aberdeen, like. I imagine A-framing that home would be a mission and a half. Yugo Van is awesome for a completely different set of reasons. I am sure that would be GR8 for work, just right for impressing my clients The random application of the word 'european' is splendid. Reminds me of the disgusting Transit that my dad used to roll around in, that for some unfathomable reason had "UK & EUROPEAN COURIER" emblzoned down the side in 'comic sans' font, text that remained throughout his tenure despite it's sole use being for pootling about and not couriering items to Europe. pogweasel
Bit of plod and a tin of Dulux will have that Rolla back on the shite-ass wedding circuit no bother. Just park it t'other way round outside the registry office. I am genuinely amazed by the number of shitty white RR's that do such service on any given saturday. Sure in the past turning up in a Roller would be quite 'special', but surely pitching up in some hand-painted old shitter that smells of damp carpets and mouse urine is hardly going to make the blushing bride feel 'special' is it? I mean a cracked-bumper Mondeo is probably better suited to the task in hand. Even the higher end of the spectrum is a bit 'crap' isn't it? My mate got hitched at the weekend and they pushed the boat out a bit with a Bentley Turbo, but you coud pick one of those up for less than the price of a new Fiesta. The Porka GT3 he arrived in was schweeeet though. I digress. Have an AvenJa. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Classic-Car-HILLM ... 0257160441SEX.

Rocket88
998cc automatic...I am a new driver it is just a bit too nippy for me :lol:Bizarrely enough, up to about 26 mph, they are quite quick, with lots of furious and fairly pointless swapping of ratios in the horrible AP box. My mum had a Metro VDP with the same box, and it was precisely 2 mpg better than a 5 litre Mercury Monarch I had at the time.................
