garethj
Hey, Garethj, have you seen this monster thundering and lurching around the track at Goodwood? I took this in 2004 I think. That is my car, I had it for about 5 years then sold it to the bloke who races it in Classic Saloon races. I think it was driven by a Works Porsche driver at Goodwood? ChinaTom
Wow!! I'll check the catalogue to see - maybe Walter Rohrl? Now that would be something not many folk could claim - Rohrl drove my Tatra...
ChinaTom
Hey, Garethj, have you seen this monster thundering and lurching around the track at Goodwood? I took this in 2004 I think. Very entertaining, and attracted as much attention as the LM's and million dollar stuff.I didn't see it there last year, I'll make sure to look out for it on the 24th!I never get to be in UK for the FoS, but do try to make the Revival whenever I can. It always brings out the best in the Missus, and the tw*t in me...

wuvvum
I want that too, but it went for daft money last time (around £1200 I think) and the chap will probably want even more for it this time round. Plus it's on the other side of the country now...

wuvvum
Were Eagles officially imported to France?Weren't they imported by Renault? I know Renault had a connection with AMC - they imported the Jeep range before that was taken over by Chrysler.

Mr Livered
Yes, isn't it wonderful? The item location as Inverness so presumably it's somewhere up there. Note how the go-kart is perfectly positioned for a superfast dash to the nearest deep-fried Mars bar shop...
Milford Cubicle
I've lived in "up there" most of my life and I've never seen fried Mars bars on sale, actually I haven't seen them on sale anywhere in Scotland. Deep-fried pizzas exist though.
Mr Livered
Sorry if I offended...I'll pass on the deep-fried pizza, the other day whilst spannering underneath the car I noticed that it's not as easy to slide underneath as it used to be... I need more of the cabbage soup and less of the deep-fried anything...

Mr_Bo11ox
This Alfa 90 is about 2/3 of the way down france, would be quite a mission to collect it, also the transaxle is bust so it would need towing/A-framing. However the auction finishes in 2 hours and the current price is £1.40. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230139358840

Guest
Special import Dai-tat-su: 1992 Daihatsu Opti Think this is one of a few Daihatsu UK imported for testing. They didn't sell it here in the end, because they're a bit dim like that.
Vin
There was talk of one of these in a recent spotting thread.Apparently this one would 'benefit from a wash and polish'. It would also have benefitted from some hippy not getting wasted in the seventies and going a bit OTT with the sheepskin......I can't link the pics but I can do the funky description in the link business. Here you go.1968 UK RHD Autobianchi Van

wuvvum
Hmmm. I can see the bonnet being a bit of a problem to get hold of for one of those. Would it be the same as an early A112? Front looks vaguely similar, even if the engine is at the opposite end.
