Mash
This Cortina's rather nice. I must admit, I've been fancying a Mk 4 of late...! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1978-FORD-CORTINA ... 00031335QQ
Mash
And I quite like this too. Being a saloon gives it a bit of novelty value with the square lamps and so on. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1984-VOLKSWAGEN-P ... 0189377068

seth
Not on Ebay but the price has been coming down since it was first offered Minty 2000 now for sensible offers! http://www.practicalclassics.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2230
Mash
That looks nice to me. A lot of people will dismiss that straight away because it's the 2000. I kind of like it because of that......
wuvvum
This looks like it could be an interesting vehicle. I can't help wondering why anyone would bother going to all that effort, but I reckon it'd be an ideal tow car. Probably won't be cheap though. wuvvum
I don't understand these people who fork out for a brand new set of tyres and then stand the van in a field for 30 years. To be fair to the bloke though if you had an H van you could get way more than €49's worth of bits off that. Reckon his DS is a bit overpriced though. SM would be tempting if I had a bit more spare cash and masochistic tendencies.

wuvvum
Mate of mine was after that Triumph, but he's now bagged himself a Rover P6 so I think he's backed off. Looks like it's got potential, anyway. To post hyperlinks in a shorter format, one proceeds as follows:[ url=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1974-Triumph-2500i-auto-Estate_W0QQitemZ230208494209QQihZ013QQcategoryZ29760QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ]I want this![ /url ]Just take out the spaces before & after the square brackets and it will turn the "I want this!" text into a hyperlink. mouseflakes
Looks nice - strange that the seller is emigrating this week but has still put a reserve on it? What if it doesn't meet that?
wuvvum
Looks nice - strange that the seller is emigrating this week but has still put a reserve on it? What if it doesn't meet that? Have bid. Reserve not met though. Maybe he'll send a second chance offer? It's not going to make a huge amount given that he's listed it in Spares.

Mr_Bo11ox
Thats wonderful. Infuriating that I have still not yet had one of these cars.I wont be buying that one though as the recent rain is giving me guilt pangs about my two old jap heaps sitting in a damp paddock.
