This will make a Fantastic car for a project both during and after completion. The five cylinder engine revs to 6000 revolutions per minute as standard and sounds AWESOME with an aftermarket SPORT exhaust. The seller manages to convey appoximately NO INFORMATION AT ALL about the condition of this car in his description

Bought it out of the Practical Classics small ads, got it home and when I went over it I realised it needed a hell of a lot more work than I thought, so swapped it for a Nova. That was over seven years ago - it's been on the chap's lawn ever since. The engine was a runner when I had it, but it had no brakes. For what it's worth, the welding that has been done will probably have been done to a pretty high standard as the chap is (or used to be) a professional welder. greengartside
1987 Austin Metro 1.0 "I brought it for a run around a couple of months ago and ended up giving it the rat look. Is a 1 litre and has only got 26500ishh on the clock" "stripped out interior, afraid doesnt come with any seats unless someone can give me a decent offer with the bucket seats in before friday when they go" Two months ago eh? Looks like you've done a bang-up job of looking after it, it looks really appealing now.Sorry to drag this one from the archives, but out of morbid curiosity I did an online checky thing on the (sh)at look Metro and apparently E795 JDF is not a Metro but indeed a VW Golf GTi, which was last taxed 6 years ago.
