Bonnets were painted matt black to stop reflection on rallies were they would encounter lots of sunshine. Painting it gloss black kind of defeats the object. bunglebus
Doing a job in The Fatherland this week. There will be Lupo pics! Open Air near my apartment They had another tiny shitebox on the drive but I'm a bit cautious taking pics here, after getting quizzed about it by the owner of an E30 on a previous visit I'll begrudgingly admit these old Mercs are alright Polo Fun is certainly not something we got in the UK - although we did get the earlier Dune Ooh a Lupo! Managed to miss picturing a gaily coloured 2CV and what I think was a 60s Skoda Dyslexic Viking and D.E
bunglebus
Plenty of older German stuff still trundling around Fore sail Modded Lupo Nice late 70s Bug But not as nice as this 63/4 Big old Bird was just around the corner to my apartment, they like a Yank out here In complete contrast there are also a surprising number of Apes, but most seem to be on static display Not much bigger, seen a few Amis about too
