hotford00
Not sure if it could be checked off the reg but the colour scheme of the escort reminds me of the rs 2000 challenge cars , they used to put so called celebs in them (Noel Edmonds etc) and let them wizz round the tracks and regularly wipe them out

Timewaster
Cut springs? On a Mini?!!my bad there hydrosplasticated... it was late Only until 1969!From then on they had rubber cones, which for the masochistic modifier can be cut.Alternatively for ££££££££££££££ you can buy adjustable ride height kits.I'd go along with the theory that they have no suspension travel, therefore dont need any clearance. Split_Pin
 Aaah reminds me of what pound-shop wheel trims used to look like. That Allegro looks eminently saveable, hope someone does so before bloody TG destroy another one in a reversing competition

garycox
That Scorpio looks pretty clean for a car that's been standing 10 years... There's a car round the back of my house that's been standing since '99 and it's covered in green crap and so rotten it would (and does) disintegrate when you touch it... garycox
I'll try to get some... It's a W reg Mk1 Astra Estate, 1300L I think. Was in OK condition until some local arses put all the windows through. Was then covered up with a tarp but now it's been there 10 years I think it would be very difficult to move it without it just breaking, it's that rusty. It's only managed to survive that long as it's not in the way and nobody's complained about it.In pre-AS days I had an Acclaim parked next to it. People kept moaning that it was in the way (it was on our land but technically it's a turning circle) so I scrapped that, I'd just put a brand new wing on it too and it was in good nick. I dunno why I didn't just scrap the Astra, which was probably already beyond repair, and put it in that spot. What an idiot. Anyhoo, I seem to have got a little OT there... carry on...
