Considering the Germans are supposedly rational, sensible, logical beings, how did they justify the polo harlequin to themselves?Did someone feed pot smoke into the air conditioning?Like wow man, colours.....groovy......

I could be wrong, but I think it was a UK only-model. Does anybody know if they all had the same colours on the same panels?
They were made using shells of four different colours, and then they arranged the panels so no two adjacent ones were the same colour. I'm not sure if there were a set number of arrangements they stuck to or if they just went mad (in a sensible, German way) but they're definately not all the same. One came up in my local salvage yard not long ago, at quite a decent price. But the best bit was it was panel damage only, so it didn't matter one bit where you got the replacement panels from as long as they were all from different coloured cars :)

That Minor is amazing! Hard to beleive there are still examples like that that haven't been snapped up by restorers. Wonder what a split screen in that sort of nick is worth? Do you reckon it's owned by an old couple, or a student? Oh, and who else thinks those lovely conical wing-mirrors look totally wrong on the white Toledo?

Getting in and out of that Mini must be interesting, with both doors welded shut!!

That is the question, how DO you get in & out of it?? I certainly don't think I could, I'd crawl in head first & end up straight out the other side hitting the tarmac!

My guess would be a student as the area it is in has a lot of rented bedsits/houses. The uni is nearby.

I suppose, with practice, you could do it the cool way, a la Dukes of Hazzard, but it must be a bit tricky for a female, especially in a skirt!!!
