I figured with the 25ft turning circle and all that malarkey it would be quite fun to see how one would do LOL

or a Bond Mini car LOL!

Mini is a great shout. There is a guy who normally campaigns one and it is seriously quick round the course.


It's the cheapest Motorsport day out - don't delay.


Taxi would be shit as it is a) slow b ) very big.

Ideally for autotesting you need a smoll light car with quick off the line acceleration.


Someone was running a turbo car yesterday and he struggled as it kepts getting on and off boost meaning it was a challenge to drive.

No helmet.

Just car with mot and insurance. Plus a FIA licence - apply online.

It looks such a brilliant day out!! I was all set to road rally the mini, until my eldest came along but this seems perfect and a little less damaging on the car! Seems cheap too! Can't have a half Decent night out on the lash for less than that these days!!

I've got to have a crack at this at some point 

Unfortunately the Snagglepuss K11 seemed much quicker than mine off the line when I had it... not sure why, maybe lighter? I think that one had the earlier K10 gearbox which maybe was geared lower, not sure

Holy Autotest Ressurection .. 

 

Moving north of the border, I have had to join the local club - Saltaire Rally Club. 

I have entered the next Autotest on 13th August in Errol.  It is on an airfield so should be a hoot!  If any one fancies coming to have a go it is £35 for a full day days fun!

Winner overall was the guy in a G reg Astra. 

As normal I didn't trouble the leaderboard in anyway!

 

I am thinking about having a go at the 3 sisters Autotest in December if anyone fancies that.

I really want to try Autotesting when I have the K11 taxed and insured. I see there is one Ross but do you normally need to be a member of a club or organisation to parktake?
