Yes, you can have a Driving Experience in this country featuring this car!

So I did, obviously.

'Twas just after Christmas when MrsR spotted this being offered online at a sale price, so we had to book it as my birthday present, didn't we?  I fell in love with the Batmobile when I was about 7 years old, and it is single-handedly responsible for my enduring love of old American cars.  The car they use is a modern replica, and close up, it's actually a bit, well, shonky.  But with a small-block Chevy under the hood it can get up steam, and makes a lovely rumble while so doing.  I didn't care about being the slowest car on the circuit, it didn't matter.  What mattered was not bending the Batmobile!

The nearest it was going to come was Wigan; Three Sisters in fact, a circuit I've driven before, 21 years ago.  So for my few minutes with a replica of the Great Beast, I drove a good hundred miles each way, in the rain.  I had to take the Suzuki as both the other cars are out of action.

Oh and in the car park I spotted this, the first I've seen in the metal...
