The Old Bloke Next Door
Acquired for youngest daughter nine years ago for £900. At the time very nice condition, about 58000 miles, two owners, full service history. Now well used and abused, rusty rear arch's grotty interior,( dog and horse tat conveyance) tired engine.Plus points, four new tyres, battery and exhaust, everything apart from sunroof and one panel light still working,152000 miles. Mot February.Since she's owned it only one FTP and no major mechanical items have required replacement. They don't make them like that anymore. Plan is to run it through the winter and hopefully get it through another mot.
bigstraight6
Why is there an anti theft device on the steering wheel of this vehicle! It certainly looks very lived in.... Sigmund Fraud

Split_Pin
I'd love to valet that interior. My Megane was as bad as that if not worse and I got it looking half way decent again. oldcars and The Old Bloke Next Door
mercrocker
There is something appealing about this, mixed wheel trims, tape and that interior - like a toddler's been let loose in Rymans. A Renault is not a Renault without a forward hinged bonnet, either. oldcars

My Megane was as bad as that if not worse and I got it looking half way decent again. That may happen, depends what I find underneath when I get it on my ramp later this week. So far covered 94 miles since Thursday, drives well, bit of play in the transmission, something rattling underneath at the rear and a clonk on the both front suspension struts.Plus points so far are the fuel gauge has hardly moved and the heater is that hot I had to turn it down today.
