old Pugs in Morocco

This speaks volumes about how tough these old cars are. And to me it shows just how big an effect different climates have on bodywork, like in this country (I suspect largely due to the pointless practice of salt-spreading roads) cars are lucky to reach 15-20 years old.

One shot with a 504 and 305 estate plus what appears to be a Fiat Regatta estate as well, shite overload in one shot

Let me add a 309 to make it perfect.

That eveneing was the most perfect dinner show ever: sit in the café watch the shite passing by and just hit the shitter shutter release every so often. Wonderful music as well, Indenor Diesel at its best, sometimes even in Stereo!

I counted four Peugeot 504 estates, three "Berline"  two pickup's and that 305, that was Peugeot only. A few Fiats (126, Regatta?) and Renaults as well.

Dont be mistaken, these cars are proper shite, bodge repaired to an inch within their life. Remember our cars have to pass an MOT, their cars just have to be better then a horse and cart.

Love seeing W123s and old Pugs in such natural surroundings.    It was TV footage of Beirut being shelled to shit that made me want a W123 - they seemed to lumber out of the rubble with about eight people in them, a big white flag hanging out the back window and still wearing three of its hubcaps.   The missing wheel trim is probably still on that 504 saloon in the opening post here.....
