Great number plates - got any?

Not my picture (as I’ve somehow lost it) but I often see this near my office.

Number plate is devastatingly accurate as anyone who has driven one of these glorified Tupperware box death traps will attest!

Bet it’s got stiff suspension!

Or a floppy top.

these days if you have such a vehicle like that Austin you can request a more appropriate age related plate from the DVLA if you want to

I have an intense dislike of age-related plates. They look wrong and stand out.

All Dad's bikes have their original reg numbers. Eight are Oxfordshire are the other five are from London, Manchester, Nottingham, Lancashire and Birmingham. The London reg is particularly special; only one left on that particular make/model.

My bucket list has the following items I'd like to own;

Bike with a two letter one number reg

Bike with a two letter two number reg (Dad did actually have one but sold that bike before I was born. Still 'alive' on DVLA)

Bike with a two letter three number reg (One of my neighbours has one. He's owned it since 1955....)

Bike with a single letter reg wouldn't go amiss either....

Assumed this was a good plate, thinking it was a Panamera, until I saw that it was a Taycan.....

@Dyslexic Viking didn't realise cherished/personal plates were available in Norway, but presumably they are?

In similar right-but-wrong vein, today I saw a Belgian plate that said BMW on something else entirely (VW/Audi, I forget).

They became a thing a few years ago but are not very common at least from what I've seen.

No photo (soz) but saw P1 PPA yesterday on one of those Lamborghini 4x4s.

An unfortunate one today: ST15 AMY. A Fiesta ST so it's obviously supposed to reference the car but just made me think Amy has many sexually transmitted infections.

Would suit a Bugatti better.

Recently saw 13 US on a ‘60s 23 window VW Bus. Of course the spacing was wrong so it really did look like BUS.

Surprisingly the VW, which had two large roof racks and no ground clearance, zoomed past me on the M4 when I was doing a limit +10% 77mph.

Quite a well known VW camper with a 2600cc engine, Porsche rather than Rover. It is quick.

Would look better on my Yugo I think.

Not 'great' in any sense, but interesting to see an old style plate on a boring modern.

The plate also carried the dealers name and rear sticker so it has certainly been on there a long time. I guess like my previous Micra post, it's a plate passed down through the generations?

C4 ROL correctly spaced and spotted on a newish Audi A4 in a Premier Inn car park in Leeds yesterday. I'm guessing plate stands a chance of being worth more than the car.
