quicksilver Posted March 10 Posted March 10 What is this truck for? It's for egg, of course. I believe it belongs to the infamous Bum Hole Farm (actually Bumble Hole Farm but they notoriously published a photo with the driver standing in front of his truck and accidentally* covering up the 'ble'). uk_senator, outlaw118, willswitchengage and 4 others 5 2

I think the bottom half was white with a gold shield/laurel wreath thing on it.. That & the fact it was a right hooker.. The Cyprus flag could roughly match your description at a quick glance and they drive on the right. But a look at the internet shows they use the standard EU blue flash on the plate and they don't issue letters only. Could it be a dealers name plate covering the original one (as seen in many online adverts) with a trade plate lying flat on the dashboard? I don't know where you saw it but there's a 'CGM Sport and Classic' near Cheltenham, their website is crap but it looks like the sort of place that could sell Range Rovers. uk_senator 1

This was in outer north London, I couldn't see any trade plate (pretty sure I looked in my mirror in it to check the rear plate as well). I dunno, we`ll probably never find out, I`ve not seen it since. martc 1

DavieW Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Just followed a Discovery 3 with the reg SC65 RAP. Very apt. Didn't look like it was a personal plate though. High Jetter 1
Gompo Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Late last year, I'm relatively confident this was the infamous original. And ignoring that front end, I liked this one. Almost palindromic(?) my first thought was Geep of the Jago sort. FakeConcern and outlaw118 2
New POD Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Saw MX 66 VXR unfortunately it wasn't on either a Ford Probe (mazda MX6) or a boy racer Vauxhall It made me smile that the owner of the Audi it was on was probably unaware that it would have a value to either (although you obviously could not use it on an MX6 because too old)

Do they really need two rear axles for carrying eggs.
DavieW Posted March 29 Posted March 29 In Aviemore last week, we followed a VW Transporter with the number AV13MRE.

Obviously I can't be 100% it's the same one but they've put a decent amount of effort to make it look original if not. High Jetter 1
RoverFolkUs Posted March 30 Posted March 30 No photo sadly but I observed something with yellow tinted headlights approaching in my rear view mirror so my 'shite-radar' was on high alert, when it passed it turned out to be a Volvo V70 with the number plate "OV51 LOV" 😃 FakeConcern 1
Tenmil Socket Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I spotted a weird looking reg plate on the back of Audi last week. A yellow plate and the digits were something like: 328-N-6

Alan_Green Posted April 5 Posted April 5 A pal abroad has just imported a BMW. The DVLA (equivalent) has just allocated this local reg number: adw1977, 5speedracer and willswitchengage 2 1
