Junkman
We are booked in. To facilitate a smooth set up/running of the show, please note the following. 1/ Site Plan - the layout has been finalised Please check our allocated club stand location before arrival, however, Volunteer Stewards will be on hand on the day to direct as well. 2/ Access/Set up - Entry is from 10am until 11am - Please note access before this time may not be permitted. The Show opens at 11am and closes at 4pm. Field to be vacated by 5pm at the latest please. 3/ Donations - can be taken on the day by our stewards at entry. Suggested donation is £5 per classic vehicle. 4/ Stewarding of Club Stands - it's going to be even busier this year. Therefore they ask that we consider allocating a club member to assist in coordinating our club's parking in our allocated section. Who is going to be forced to volunteer for the latter, Ghosty? Conrad D. Conelrad and Squire_Dawson

Junkman
The enthusiasm with which donations are being made is a disgrace. A fucking disgrace, I said!
Junkman
'Large vehicles'?! Yes, when the initial reservation was being made, there were still chances of LTD and Cadillac attendances. However, the larger space will now give us the chance to arrange the cars not just side by side, which is a tad tedious I'm sure you'll agree with. chaseracer
Do you want cash ahead of the show, or on the day?
Junkman
Strictly speaking the organisers want your cash, not me.The ones attending of course can pay on the day, or me in advance, doesn't matter, but the plan is to hand over an envelope containing a wad on behalf of Autoshite. Junkman
Today I received an email from the organisers thanking our group for the donation we made, which contributed to a total of £7734.21, beating last year’s £7100. They were especially impressed that our group handed over donations from members who didn't even attend. So thanks again for all who contributed! The entire Autoshite thing puts a smile on their faces and they are looking forward to having us again next year.On behalf of Autoshite, I took the liberty to assure them that we will do our utmost to pull down the average even more. We are also thanked by Stockport Deputy Mayor, Councillor Angela Merkel Wendy Meikle. brownnova, chaseracer and Squire_Dawson
