Pillock
over 146 mph on the Dronfield bypass. Dronfield Bypass is the place to do speed runs, it's brilliant! Downhill obviously. I once test drove a Lupo GTI from the VW dealer at the bottom of that road, it had been badly repaired and wasn't square (but they still wanted 6 large for it) but we still got up to a fair old lick down there. spartacus
Split_Pin
Building on the 'aftermarket alloys' post, I will say 'decent-looking aftermarket alloys'. 15 years ago there were some right horrors but You could also get great looking sets from manufacturers such as Millie Miglia, Kahn, Masitaly and Technomagnesio. Now it's all shitty Dotz or Ripspeed stuff, black with a milled finish that corrodes and flakes after 2 years.
