Are you posting the keys on down?

I bet he's dying to take the Ax for a drive.

Posted first thing Monday morning - so he should be past the sitting in the drivers seat and making brum brum noises stage :-)

This afternoon managed to brave the cold and get the hoses swapped out.

Bought some maptun silicon ones from Neobrothers.

The split is clear

There was another split further down the hose as well - so just as well I didn't bodge the first split to get to the south.

The pipes were proper buggers to get off the heater matrix

I had order new hose clip pliers during the week as my old ones were knackered

Fill with coolant and bobs your uncle. An incredibly unexciting update.

Isn't nice to have friends ... Especially ones you can on rely on to be the voice of reason and tell me I am an idiot.

Thanks for a certain friend and a moment of weakness (first beer in 3 weeks) - I shall be delaying my final tat account for 2020 as This weekend I have got two motor vehicles incoming - which will result in at least one leaving.

One of which is motorhome and number two is something I haven't owned before.

  • The Moog changed the title to Moogs Motahs - incoming
I'm guessing that hose is a week spot on 9-5s judging by the previous replies and the face mine did the exact same thing on the M56 when I booted it down the slip road
Its very dramatic when it goes, i felt like the Red Arrows.
My 2.3t did the same drag racing at Crail, all fixed and replaced with go faster maptun hoses.

If one was to comment then hypothetically speaking one might be thinking of sticking a new clutch in and seeing if the dogs agree with the car. If they did then saab roffle, if not then will roffle/sell BX once fixed

Xud licker - this not likely a surprise :)

lol.

Judging by Missus Moogs reaction it might be just a case of tootling around in the BX for a month once I have got the clutch fixed and then probably roffle it. Book time seems to be 8 hours for the clutch, but luckily I have Northern Monkeys lift to work on under cover.  Will get a LUK clutch kit, plus driveshaft seals and crank seal plus a clutch cable just in case.

BX Luk clutch, drive shaft seals, clutch cable and crank oil seal ordered of ebay with credit card.

Anything else worth doing when I am doing the clutch?

My only concern after reading Strangeangels adventures is that it seems to be nom noming clutches. I am hoping a good quality kit should solve that.

Sod christmas, I am so excited for the weekend for my two new toys ... (ignoring the non working mx5 sitting in the corner!)

all back safe and sound. It's a big old beast but everything works.

The dealer tried everything before we left and noticed that the blown air heater switch was dicky, the radio aerial was a bit pants and the awning was stiff.

Stuck it straight into the workshop and got it all sorted before we left.
