pogweasel
Here we see the lesser-spotted Volvo 340 at rest in it's natural habitat.... the disabled bay... I sincerely hope it was a 1.4 with rubber-band gearbox for full 'giffer' marks.
j-j
Shame! I was not going to comment on its choice of parking spot! Don't think it's the rubber band 'box as those types had the air intakes on the front bumpers but this has the little blanking plates in place. Is this the only shiter that had blanking plates on the OUTSIDE?
dollywobbler
Nope! Triumph TR7. Has blanking plates on the rear wing, where the marker lamps go on US-spec ones. Metro City with no rear wiper. Blanking plugs ahoy. Actually, any Metro has one blanking plate, where the LHD wipers would go. The other is used for the windscreen washers. Sure there are loads. Maybe we need a new thread! Negative Creep
If we're talking blanking then my Golf not only has them where the LHD wipers would be, but also on the wing where the lesser version had an aerial. Oh and despite being the top spec version the dash has more blank switches than working ones!
Split_Pin
My mums metro which wasnt *even* a city had a blanking plate on the rear bumper where the second fog lamp went on more expensice models.Nice 340 - I saw one in Edinburgh the other day, really quite rare now sadly. Forgot that the standard steel wheels looked like that on later models.edit: just remembered my Vec has 2 'rogue switches' on the dash, I think its for the heated seats and alarm on the CDX one or something
Pete-M
My mums old Nova Merit had the outer vents on the dash blanked out.
