I've not seen a 5110 for decades, that takes me back. My mate had one back in 2000 and he was miffed when I got a 3210, much smaller and without an aerial!

if it was still on sale i'd have another in a heart beat.

damn near indestructible, and gr9t for phone calls and text messages, just what i want a fone to do.....

I had one but really didn't get on with it at all, ended up sending it back. Best phones ever? Samsung D500/D600 (bullet proof) and the T100 'flip' was ace.

I also had a Motorola Pebl that was my dad's old phone which I borrowed for 3 extended periods of time when my own phone at the time FDRIGHTUP. It was super reliable and was the most tactile thing I've ever owned- just couldn't stop rolling in in my palm! The Razr which was out at around the same time on the other hand was a lot less reliable.

Thread neglected, here's an update. What does the person with one 405TD estate do? Buy another, of course, though I think it's found a new home now...

Horrible scooter? Step this way, try not to sting yourself on the irony of the British bulldog stickers and Union flag seat cover...

The Laguna's gone, did a deal with the scooter. Kudos to whoever though Tamoretti was a good name, instead of thinking it sounded like a 'lady product''. Hopefully this won't be my problem for long as I have a couple of possible interested buyers for it. If it goes I'm getting a ride-on lawnmower (insert your own 'more powerful/less embarrassing' jokes here) so if anyone is selling a heap useable one, get in touch, please!

I once swapped a Fiat Uno for a Mini LCB exhaust manifold. I wonder who got the better deal.

And there was a vicious rumour you'd gone and left us Mr C, I refused to believe it of course!

That van behind had made me laugh though...

Good luck shifting that purple powerhouse!

If you do get another 405 estate, I may be interested.

Apparently, most women enjoy a Dickens Cider.

Three or four places wouldn't do the lettering for the van, but a firm in Ellesmere Port were happy to do it. One refused to have different coloured letters, but would have charged me three times as much anyhow, so their loss.

The other 405 estate will be up for grabs, spent a lot on that, but mojo has disappeared.

Yay, Billy's back. With some epic dismal shite too (in fairness the Pug isn't at all dismal â€“ and I'm saying that as someone that has limited fondness for Frogchod – but the scooter more than makes up for it).

The van is the highlight though, hopefully we will be seeing more of Cavcraft's construction subsidiary in the future.

The scooter is a Tamoretti Cruiser 125 that my mate was told would go straight through an MOT. Except the front disc, which is more bent than a female Russian shotputter's purple headed womb broom.

Seems to run ok on the 82ft test ride, no test or anything. £200 takes it away, has no kick start (though I'm sure it's supposed to) but fires up off the electric start.

When the van gets dirty, just needs "I wish my wife was this dirty" scrawled into the dirt to complete the look.

Haven't you got everything* you'll ever* need* from a diesel estate car already?

But it's a 405 ... We all know chicks dig them... .

Sunglasses, mobile phone, insurance and money. Lift to the Wirral, drive home in style.

8V! Only the best bleeding 2.0 engine ever made. Note, as much oil outside as inside engine. Rocker cover usual victim.

Vauxhalls are shit, can't do the miles.

Tamoretti sold as well, and to top it off I've just won £120 on a £3 football bet.

That looks proper sweet, is that the SE2? Mate had an SE9 with those wheels, red and black leather. V6 sounded good but was all noise and little motion.

I like the 8v a lot.
