Saw this on Youtube some weeks back. Apparently the owner was looking to sell and downsize due to personal circumstance. There was a preview to an auction recently where potential bidders could view the cars before placing a bid. LT84 and martc

bunglebus
I was there not so long ago - the Yaris has been off the road since 2017, the Astra since 2018, the Suxo since 2019 and the three-wheeling Pug since 2020. How odd, must be a (multi)story as to why they're there martc

AnthonyG
A 66 plate Ford Ecosport has finally been removed from a main road in Cheltenham (Princess Elizabeth Way, a very busy route from the north to the west of town, and not a road you’d easily dump an old banger in) having sat in the same spot since at least December. I can only assume the owner died, as it would have been worth fixing no matter what had gone wrong with it, and a finance firm would have repossessed if the owner had stopped payments. It was only removed after the Untaxed vehicle stickers appeared a couple of weeks ago. bunglebus

Many of these have ended up on eBay, I recognise the location. These we’re spotted on a recent trip to Watford/ Croxley Green in North London. There were plenty more old heaps seemingly abandoned on people’s drives but I felt too conspicuous taking photos. It’s weird seeing a quite affluent area full of so many abandoned motors, maybe people here don’t need the £400 or so Car take back would pay so are happy for them to fester. Lankytim
This has turned up close to me in Stoke on Trent. It’s probably not fair to class it as abandoned as it’ll probably get removed fairly quickly. It’s the second car around here that’s spontaneously combusted recently, I remember there was a fad years ago where kids set fire to the plastic bumpers on cars, hopefully it’s not becoming a fashion again! motorpunk
Most odd. The camper has been there forever and looks absolutely bollocksed, but had an MOT. The R5 is new but clearly ancient. The Sprinter is usually there. I think someone lives in the camper, owns the Renault, and works with the Sprinter. I hope they’re ok. All the above vehicles are on the old airfield site at Upper Heyford, Bicester. There's security to get in so no-one's going pilfering, probably why they're all untouched still motorpunk
