So what's the plan for it, hope it gets towed or are they trying to sell it?

Glad you tracked the owners down

I imagine it’s awaiting collection by a scrapyard or car breakers. I doubt a demolition firm would just dump it hoping the council would collect it.

I guess if it goes to a car breakers it will get sold on or dismantled for usable bits, if it goes straight to a metal yard it might just get crushed. The alternative is one of the demolition guys or builders has said they’ll do something with it.

If that was in Paisley it would as Reagan would say " stripped to its  knickers by now " , amazed the wheels haven't gone at least , seats look in decent knick to

This has been sat on a former pub carpark since last year.

Once the weeds start to eat the wheels, it's not a good sign.

Nor are the Twin Red Bars Of Doom...

Think it could be curtains for this Transit Connect... Though seeing this one made me realise just how thin on the ground they are, these days.

There is a pub I used to occasionally visit which had an early Mk1 Ford Focus in the same parking space each time.  It took me a few visits to realised it might have been dumped there.  I presume it took some legal wrangling to get it removed.  It was that insipid yellow colour, & another in the same colour seemed to take up residence in the car park at my local Premier Inn around the same time.

Not dumped technically, it's on someones drive. It's been there years now. The owners seem to get a luxo barge every once in a while, drive it a bit then park it.

I'm literally that person in my local area.

My e38 is growing mould now :(

I'm not one for vigilante justice, but the driver of this van has been going around the area propositioning young girls.

He actually lives at the other end of my road, has no licence as far as we know and also threatened my BIL with a baseball bat years ago.

I just hope he hadn't borrowed the van

Shame that his van was the chosen target.  It's often better learning experience for the individual to receive an expression of the community's displeasure personally.

Is that really abandoned or is it a case of the driver having taken the world's slowest acting Viagra?  He might still be waiting in there...

There were loads of police outside his place a few days prior, so I expect he's escaped from a kicking - but whether he can be charged/convicted is another matter. I shouldn't think he'll show his face around here anyway.

I never agree with taking out displeasure on someone's vehicle, been on the receiving end of that myself, but his behaviour (assuming what's being said about him is true) does tend to get people a bit hot under the collar, and understandably so. There are lots of kids and a junior/secondary school on the estate

Drove past yesterday, and seems that the Connect's been dragged from the edge of the car park out to the kerb (literally dragged, going by the marks on the gravel - guessing the handbrake's stuck on).

I foresee a HIAB in its immediate future...

...in which case the driver really ought to get out, if they're still in there...

OK - recently landed back in blighty - massive issues left me screwed over and found myself in nowhere-s-ville. Lordylovers and gentletwerkers I give you a selection from New Addington..... there's a load more to come I haven't papped yet.

Both these on the same garden/front 'drive'

there's a covered large 70s/80s Merc and a T4 Panel Van I seem to have lost the photo's of.

I'm exploring the area and there's loads of 'em. I'll grab more as I go......

Seems there are a lot of out of use motors at the moment, whether it's cost of living, WFH, covid or whatever

Pictured this one before but now the house has been let I suspect its days are numbered. There are no less than four Kaks in about ¼ mile along the same side of this road
