louiepj
Tried uploading this back in Feb, Partners friends car that she drove up until the finance was payed off at the end of september. Then they went out and bought the larger one behind it on finance and whilst doing this her partner turned down about £3000 trade in he was offered for it claiming he could sell it for more and so there it has sat ever since with flat tyre and battery. Do not think any of the advisories from last mot would have been addressed either knowing him. Nice bloke good chippy but sometimes such a 'plank' when it comes to money. Split_Pin
I decided to go for a walk to the other side of Bonnybridge last night instead of my usual run up to the hills and away from it. I see now why I normally choose the latter, it is a crucially dysfunctional shithole, full of rotten estates interspersed with huge drug dealer houses. Never again. However, it's where chod goes to die. I had to zoom in on this one. Ancient Leyland Freighter, long, long dead. This looks to have been here for decades, with a Scania 2 series for company Another Leyland, this time an 8 legged Constructor. Scammell Trunker. This has been here for decades as well. Sierra next to it another half a one was nearby. On the road outside, a slightly more spruce pair. And back down the road was this: What I photographed doesn't even scratch the surface but I had to remain semi-covert due to the highly dodgy area no doubt full of paranoid people with a lot to hide. I'm glad I live in the nice* part of town, all things considered. Vantman, LightBulbFun, worldofceri and 4 others 6

And she is passive enough on the situation to let him carry on with it. I did try pointing out that he will probably have to now put a few hundred into it just to get it back on the road and an mot on it. Definitely needs a expensive ECM battery, a couple of tyres and the brakes replacing.
phil_lihp
This has been dissolving gently in front of a dilapidated house for years, this is the first time I've seen it up close though and it's pretty ripe. There's holes all over it and the ground around it is ringed with what's fallen off it since it was parked. What's incredible is that it was MOTd until 2016 and doing reasonably significant mileages until then, I thought it'd been sat for at least ten years. bunglebus
This one's a bit odd - some folks have moved into my BIL's old flat further up the road, but all accounts they're a pain in the arse making loads of noise at all hours, and they have this A Class. Every now and again it's left outside our house at the end of the road, they have of-street parking. Last night there was a load of arguing in the allyway next to our house, followed a few minutes later by knock on the door from the opposite neigbours, asking if the A Class is anything to do with us - it's sat right in the middle of the road blocking their driveway. Seems like they had an argument (again), and he drove the car down presumably following his Mrs, and just dumped it, windows open, in the end of the cul-de-sac and went after her. Handbrake released and shoved it out of the way enough so they could access their drive. Thing is, it's not taxed or insured and has a "Boris" MoT. Tax ran out the same day as the last V5C was issued so he's not bothered making it legal - I understand he doesn't have a licence either. I left my dashcam running and caught him getting back in it to drive off - worth reporting? 20200804_202033 by RS, on Flickr 20200804_202019 by RS, on Flickr Split_Pin, paulplom and HarmonicCheeseburger 2
